I will give that post a like...

I "like" almost every post to show my appreciation for the post, not necessarily that I agree with the post.

aliceklar just posted that half the plants got binned.

I didn't like the fact that the plants got binned. I liked that the failure of the plants was posted.

I quite proudly post my failures.
I can be a good example of what not to do. Lol

I'm pretty sure I've got a fungas gnat.

That's good news!!

Now I've got something for my soil mites and lady bugs to eat, and I get to find out whether my soil is bug resistant.

I would feel horrible if I starved my lady bugs to death. Lol

I want to know if I can just ignore any bugs I see.

One less thing to worry about.

Oh,.. and soil mites eat fungas too but they prefer meat, so a few rotting roots in my soil can be a good thing.
I don't want to starve my soil mites either.
(But I don't need any vegan bugs. Lol)

I might have to top this plant?!?

It's been a long time since I had to top a plant.

I used to wonder what the difference was between stretching and just simply growing.

It was certainly obvious with this plant.
My plant is officially stretching now.

Lets see how tall she gets.

She's as thirsty as hell too.
I think she might have a drinking problem. Lol

Is this all about your humidity getting better then?

I'm 50mm off the panel again, and didn't even raise it lol

I better go back..

I think that the problem was mostly from simply too much light, but the closet smells like fresh, moist growth now.

The humidity went up to 65%, and she did that all by herself.
The temperature is 22.8°, so she is well into the green zone of the chart.

I'm not going to mess with any dials or numbers now. I'll just let her do her thing.
I figure that I'll turn on the exhaust fan and start turning up the lights when she almost fills the closet or when her flowers look big enough to support mold.

I still want to dry out the closet with the exhaust fan and crank up the lights, but I can wait to do that.

I wonder if she'll flake out tonight?

I'll check on her at 10:30. That's her normal bedtime 🌙 😴. Lol

Yup,.. She goes to sleep at the same time every night.

It's good to have a routine. It helps with personal stability. Lol

The RH dropped down.
I guess she doesn't wet herself while she sleeps. Lol

She drank almost all her water.
She should be good till morning though.
She's done drinking for the day.
(I'm not though. I'm just getting started. Lol)

Curious, how much longer until lights out? I have seen plants do this on time laps video before.

My plant is passed out drunk, and I'm getting close, and my cat 🐈 got her first dose of catnip.

It must be the cold in this case. Have you observed if it's always that cold when she is droopy? I mean cold in the rootzone, maybe even colder than the thermometer you have there half way up the plant..
Your rh meter could also be a bit off (or even more than a bit..) and showing 60 RH when in reality there's more. I would expect saturated air if my grow ever got to that temp. What your meter is showing looks to be in the green on the vpd scale. I doubt the accuracy of that meter a bit now.

She's fine.
She's just sleeping.
She went ZEN.

I'll see if I can catch her in REM sleep.

She won't remember a thing in the morning.
Neither will I. Lol

I just caught a bug that was flying around my kitchen.
Is this a fungas gnat ??

Yeah, thats one of those little fuckers alright. I've been using nematodes - they wipe them out. Need a couple of applications, a couple of weeks apart, but they are magic.

They're fine.
They're just food for my pets.

I feed the parents to my spiders 🕷 and lady bugs 🐞
And I feed the children to to my soil mites. Lol

I hope I have enough food to feed them through spring?

Ladybugs eat aphids - as well as spider mites and thrips - but I dont think they hunt adult flying gnats (or burrow in the soil for their larvae)
