The State of California will kill Cannibas

Just 15 years ago the State of California was the 7th largest economy in the World; then the Democrat took over. Now its rated 47th in the United States. If what they have done to the economy they will through avarice ruin something that was good. Can you believe the fucking taxation this legislation calls for?

"California: Legislation Introduced To Impose Retail Taxes On Medical Marijuana
Legislation is pending in the Senate that seeks to impose retail sales taxes on the purchase of medical cannabis.
Senate Bill 987 imposes a special 15 percent statewide tax upon medical marijuana sales. This tax would be in addition to the imposition of existing state and local taxes.
While NORML generally does not oppose the imposition of fair and reasonable sales taxes on the commercial sales of cannabis for recreational purposes, we do not support such excessive taxation on medical sales. Laws enacted by the legislature last year to regulate medical marijuana explicitly did not include additional taxation, and lawmakers should not try to impose such taxes now.
The legislation is scheduled to be considered by members of the Governance and Finance Committee on April 6th.

If Gerry Brown, or California Uber Alles fame, taxes the shit out of it, just dont pay his taxes and trouser the lot, fuck big government

Ya, I think it's in California somewhere:)
There are a lot of factors that go into California's economic woes.. I think I heard something about a severe drought also..
It sucks tho, I have a lot of friends who make their living growing herb in NorCal and it's getting tougher and tougher for them to get by

Really this system we have in the U.S. (And probably everywhere) isn't much different from the way it's always been.
U have to pay the king... Even Jesus said u gotta pay ur taxes (render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and render under God what is gods)
Not that I really believe in Jesus or God.. Just saying, the ruling class has "taxed" the working class as far back as written history goes.
There isn't anything new under the sun.

How many things in your home are from a local source less than 20 miles away? Not just bought, made 100%.

Americans are the reason our economy sucks, not taxes on cannabis.

Example: Here in Michigan (big 3 country, gm,ford,chrysler) you are told to "buy American!". So you go purchase a vehicle that is made almost entirely of over seas parts, that your told are "made in the USA". Once you get home, you slip off your shoes made in China, sit down on your recliner made in Bangladesh and turn on your tv made in Japan. Way to help the American economy!

The "free ride" in Cali is coming to an end. You will soon be welcomed into the world of "legal" cannabis. It pretty much sucks balls. :)

Excessive taxation is a form of punishment. Under decrim they get to fine you only if you get caught, under legalization you are paying that fine every time you make a purchase.

Tax = Fine = Punishment

Don't pay your tax and you are a criminal, not a criminal for your pot but a criminal for tax evasion.
