A Frenchman has trained bees to harvest resin from marijuana plants which they then use to make honey.

“For some time I had known about the health benefits of bee products such as honey, propolis, pollen, wax and royal jelly and also about the benefits of cannabis”, and so he decided to take notice of the requests..The “cannahoney” has “quite a floral” aroma and a color. It “is not smoked, it is ingested and it is good for health”

Someone asked me about this the other day and we were both skeptical.

Considering who's reporting it doesn't alleviate any skepticism but adds to it.

Wouldn't be too difficult to have his product tested for cannabinoids.

Aha, further digging. It would appear he posts on strainhunters under the name ManUbuntu.

And is taking advantage of their foraging instinct to collect resin by contact as they search fruitlessly for pollen/nectar in a closed all female greenhouse.

Wow, cannahoney sounds inviting.

And is taking advantage of their foraging instinct to collect resin by contact as they search fruitlessly for pollen/nectar in a closed all female greenhouse.

Although the way he's doing it might not be that nice for the bees..people have tried it outdoors before and failed.
