Passing days

Got the other room moving along. It's 2 4x6 trays over the top of 2 100 gallon resivoirs underneath. It will be a 8'x9' trellis covered by 2 630 double end cmh and 4 315 cmh so 2520 watts. It will be interesting to compare. The Durban stretched up to just about the right height and is starting to fill in.

Yes sir

Yes sir

I liked how you made yours so I put these up on 2x4s so I could slide them side to side and back and forth so I could get around them as needed then have the trellis high and attached to the wall. We will see how it works. I am worried about height but the cmh will be more forgiving in that aspect. Just need to get it all plumbed.

Moving along

You can't see it too well in the pics but it's how flat that it flowers, like a sunflower that I like and the smell. The last 2 are of the mom that's finishing up in the other room.

Are you gonna air cool the cmh's ?

Looks like plenty of grow space, between the trays and aircooled hoods. But can be hard to judge from pictures, but yeah from what I read the CMH's don't run nearly as hot.

Cmh

Two of the lights in the cmh room are air cooled double ended hoods and the rest are single vertical bulb 315s. I think the single vertical bulb 315s are the way to go it just takes a lot of fixtures. They cover about 2.5'x2.5'.

Another day another something

Another day another something

This is the cross I have been running for a few years and it is the control in this room. It's an old subcool bluedream pollinated by a BOG socerer's apprentice. There are 23 durban x Cindy 99s and then one of those to compare in that room. I chopped and reloaded the other hps room today and reset the cmh room. Squeezing it in before it gets warm.

Trying

Trying

The other room starting to look a little better after flip. It’s the best of the rainmaker on the left and durbanxc99 in the back and the blue dream cross in the front right. The cmh room is stretching into place. The others look like another 2 weeks out but smelling them makes me hungry for harvest.

I think it has about two weeks to go. It’s got some purple stems and it didn’t fill down it’s limbs like its momma but I will treat her a little better next time. It’s got some weird tops.

The chop

The chop

It was a good run, got it all down. Super gooey and it felt good on the hangers. The last pic is of the hybrid/control that I know well. The Durban is the winner by smell alone. It really comes through in the concentrate. I tried the flawless finish stuff for the flush because I like the idea of it. It really didn’t fade much on it but we will see what it burns like soon.

Made some plants mad today

Made some plants mad today

The ones in the Cmh room got a little tall and I didn’t get a trellis up so I moved them and stuffed them under the net in the other de room. They are right at 30 days so we will see how they react. I filled most the squares and kind of enjoyed setting them up. Not too many broken branches. It’s ethos rainmaker on the left and the sorcerer’s apprentice x blue dream on the right. Then a reminder I want in any drip system, a quick way to add or remove the number of sites.

The other room

The other room

The Durban is filling in a little better. Did have a inline filter clog and it cut pressure to a few drippers drying out a few pots but it’s back in order now. I picked up 2 dosatrons today to set all the reservoirs with float valves to make going out of town a little easier. I am thinking I will have a digital sprinkler valve come on a couple times a day and it fill the 7 tanks filled with nutes on float valves. Then when I am here I can just flow plain water and mix each tank with what I want just like I have been doing. I hope to get it set up this week, nothing fancy plenty of ball valves.

Got some done

Got some done

The dosatrons call for a filter and then I just put an empty filter housing as a mixing chamber on the other side to get samples and test ph. I am going to try foliage pro and new millennium fulvic and see how things go. They click pretty loud so I think I will just have the sprinkler valve open for an hour or two at night to fill the tanks. Still have to get float valves and hoses. I am going to put a clean up fresh water hose in each room while doing the plumbing. Probably be the end of the week before it fills it first tank.

There are fewer than usual, maybe 5 per light instead of my normal 9. I need them done in 3 weeks about day 60 and the room swap might put them behind. They are shaping up though. Veg is too ready. Rainmaker on the left with the wizard’s dream on the right.

I am going to use the cmh room to get the next set flipped, it’s all durbanxc99. It let me spread out in veg and it’s about time to put them in their final pot. They are mostly c99 and then maybe 15 lanky sour diesel. This will be the first full run with this c99 and I am very hopeful based their momma. The last two are of the Durban finishing in the other room on day 50 with 10 to go. It filled in a little better.
