day 5 update

day 5 update

Day 5. Pakistan Valley is really taking off. The Big Grapefruit appears to exhibit Sativa leaf characteristics but has remained short and bushy. The Lemon Candy will be a short bushy Indica. I broke a limb on the GSC, she has recovered nicely though. The Tangerine Dream has good vigor and very nice stem smell.

Plants are looking nice and healthy!
Did you top the plants?

Thanks Blynx. All plants topped at least once. All except Lemon Candy and Girl Scout Crack were topped twice. The Lemon Candy should not be topped, its growth does not favour it. I wanted to get one more topping in to get that nice uniform bush look, but wanted to flower ASAP. I have not done much training but will use LST and defoliation as needed moving forward to achieve maximum surface area exposure to the light

Will be applying a foliar spray today. I have been feeding with the same tea when the sides of my pots get a bit dry. I have a small aerated tea setup. I'm using the following inputs:

-Robust Molasses (stop using Cal Mag folks. The iron content is the hidden gem
-Recharge (bio innoculant)
-SCD BioAG
-Vermicrop compost
-Organics Alive Fulvic Acid (fermented rice grain)
-Biocozyme
-Organics Alive EWC

Day 13 LST

Day 13 LST

Thanks Starke. I want that stretch so I can fill my canopy in via LST. Makes mixing and matching plants easy. Below is a photo after LST. All about surface area exposure to the light

Day 15

Day 15

Almost have the canopy completely filled in. The Big Grape fruit (bottom left) and Pakistan Valley (bottom right) are monsters. The Girl Scout Crack (middle) is late to flower but is starting to blow up. TANGERINE Dream (top left) is bushing out and has the best stem smell. The Lemon Candy is a compact bush with nice branching. All plants are showing pistils.

Day 21

Day 21

Looking wonderful in there. More bud sites than I can count. Now for the individual strain review:

Barney’s Tangerine Dream: solid stem smell, nice Sativa leaning bud characteristics, not too bushy

Seedsman Girl Scout Crack: Slow to flower, good vigor, fuel like stem smell, no need to Veg long

Exotic Seeds Lemon Candy: Nice compact bushy plant, limbs starting to stretch a bit, I can see spears from this one, down side is I pulled like 4 male pollen sacks off. I’m thinking those were due to the over growth and lack of exposure of those plant parts to the light. Every thing is nice and tidy now.

Female Seeds Big Grapefruit: Nice Sativa hybrid. Big and bushy with budsites the furthest along. Resin is already building. Nice smell.

World of Seeds Pakistan Valley: Nice prototypical indica. Classic broad leaves, nice fruity smell when stem rubbed. Nice squat and bushy white crazy budsites.

Very nice canopy!

Are you planning to chop them as you determine they are finished or all at once?
