Feminized seed size vs regular seed size

hi all. seed characteristics (shape, markings and to some extent, size) come from the mother/female rather than the pollen donor/father. Sativa/NLD seeds are often quite small... Indica tend to be bigger, usually.

BUT the size of the seeds are heavily influenced by the number of seeds a plant is trying to form. The more seeds, the smaller they will be - and this will also be influenced by environmental factors such as temperature, nutritient availability and root space - most things that would influence bud size and bud yield in a sensi plant will also influence the seed size in a seeded plant.

I have read that SamS makes light pollinations in order to harvest fewer seeds of a larger size and thus better quality with greater longevity.
