Is the sulfur in gypsum something to be considered when balancing your soil?

Every chapter would be gypsum.

I'm probably gonna have to get a pallet myself.

Mota,

Ideally you would want to keep S ppms=P ppms.

However, we have seen 4 to 5 x S than P, and no issues as long as P is kept running constantly at a 1-2-1 ratio. T

Funny guy you are reppin..

Calcium(s) is the first lesson. The lesson is not gypsum.

Gypsum is a source of Ca. You can't go to lesson two til you learn lesson one, no?

Once people learn how to use Ca they immediately need to learn the other lessons. Things have changed, dramatically. That is the shocker we have seen in nearly all cases. The plants DEMAND more food. Makes sense.

And what is that complete Ca lesson? Predigestes carbonates so as to add a good source of calcium without having to drive S through the roof using gypsum but not using that much where we drive pH past 6.7 or so. Calcium(s), yes, lactate (milk), silicate, carbonate, sulfate, gluconate and phosphate come to mind.

Ok, thanks. P seems to be the expensive part of the equation.

I don't understand, 1-2-1 ratio? 1-2-1 ratio of what?
What are you using as a source of P?

do you think the more sources of calcium the better for Ca uptake? or all for different applications in different soils at different times.
If our carbonates are predigested will the M3 test become closer to the AA 8.2 ppms of Ca, Meaning less unavailable calcium showing up through both tests?

1-2-1 is npk ratio of fertigation feeds, I would think. And top dressing for that matter.

HTF, I think he advocates so many different calciums because the base saturation levels in the soil are so high, any one source of Ca would tip the scales in one way or another. Too much lime, has too much Mg. Gypsum too much Sulfur. ext ext. So getting the ph to the 6's then using gypsum seems to be the key, right slow?

Next year, loads of bone meal up front, with some gypsum, alfalfa and metals.
