If you have a friend who's feeling low, somehow get one of those fly-zappers into the conversation, then semi-accidentally zap yourself with it. It has to look convincingly accidental.

If your friend doesn't laugh their head off, you just experienced medium pain for nothing.

I'm not sure I could do it a second time, convincingly. Worked the first time !
