I started working at a facility doing concentrates. Figured I would share and stop lurking around here. The last picture tested at 94%. Im donating 2 plants next week to run it again with a special gas blend that helps THC crystallize more.

If you're crystalising it does it not then become thc-a? Was going to attempt this after my next run as I've intentionally sourced high resin producing strains as to maximise product.

Not to spew hate all over you... Moreso at the test labs...

Your products look nice, but...

94% on the undistilled BHO, and 91% on distillate?

Doesn't seem right....

(I hate the test labs, they are one of the biggest problems in this industry)

To my understanding, Isolate can test up to 99% if crystalized properly. Crystallization is a sure sign of purity because if the compound is crystalized the molecular structure just doesn't have room for other compounds. While a 1st run distillate is going to capture what ever vaporizes an recollects at the parameters your setup is running at. I have not run the distillate, nor have I claimed to, heck, I haven't even seen us fraction it off because there is another lab we have that I don't even go to where it happens. We are doing twice run distillate now, it is more clear and smells better which I would take as an indication of purity. We haven't sent it out to test yet. We are going to work on water clear runs after our licensing is approved and we can hit everything with a larger scale to have more material to work with.

That's my 2 cents with the minimal knowledge I've acquired 4 months in the field.

Ran a couple 2nd passes today. Here is a still of the pour. Sending it out for testing.

Results on some of the sauce and live resin we have done came back. Everything tested between 8 to 10 ppm for solvent. Very happy with that.
