Why do pics flip?

Yea it's annoying. If u'r on a laptop, u can always flip the screen to see em upright. Not so easy on a monitor, especially one of them old style big fat ones 
I asked about it a couple of years ago and was told it's a bug in the system. Thought it was fixed cause it hasn't bugged me since 2015 or 16, but I guess not. I can't be of any help, cause it's a tech thing, but hopefully them guys can sort it out someday
