300w LED + Alien Blackberry grow

update time. waiting for the flowers to show.

transplanted the smaller alien blackberry to a 3 gallon and you can see the size difference. this strain vegs really slowly. i have blue widow, blackberry kush that is 2-3x the size of this one in half the time of veg.

if your runnin cfl, you might as well invest in a LED. you'll run less wattage with spectrum you want to target. so worth it imo. i tried to be cheap when i started with CFL and got no where, just wasted time...

what is one thing you would do differently if you had the knowledge you knew now? mines would be keeping environment(humidity/temps) stable..

alien blackberry showin the flower hairs

the one with the 3 plants are from left to right blue widow, alien blackberry and big bud.

blue widow vegged for 3 weeks to get to that size. big bud is in week 5 still getting more plump daily. i had to chop off the top cola bc of bud rot.. freaking lame.. 4.5" tall nug

LMAO damn 4 footers? my first run had indicas so i couldn't get them anywhere near 4' under cfl

i'm lovin leds right now. probably do a all veg light on my next run. i'd like to see how that compares to MH.

in otherwords, a first production run of seeds from a female that was forced to produced males flowers so pure female seeds are produced.

so instead of a male and female making children (F1s), a single female can make S1's.

i'm plannin on crossing the alien blackberry with the blue widow. the nugs on the abb are big but the plant vegs slow. the blue widow produces big nugs and vegs fast. both are 8 week strains. it'll be interesting to see what comes from the two.

have you flowered the blue hog? what are the genetics of that strain?

S1 ~'selfed' equals pollinated itself ~1 single individual plant sexing itself up

pollinated another strain = F1 {well; another plant really}
crossing those F1 seeds to ea other = F2 and so on

scientifically we would consider 'true' F1s to be a primary cross between an established line {as IBL or landrace} but; many use the system as a note-keeping tool
