the griddle with click on and off.....WHOOOOSH....ahhhhh...it.....BURRRNNNS...

What BFP said and a griddle won't have sensitive enough controls at low temperatures.

Since you only need to get rid of the majority of the liquid butane, I wouldn't use anything but a warm water bath. Any finishimg should be done in a vacuum oven/chamber.
