Cortisone and tolerance

Hi,
I have osteoarthritis and have used Prednisone 10mg daily for years. Last summer I cut out the Prednisone and it felt like my tolerance went waaay down, now that I´m back on it it seems that I can´t get properly medicated.

Anyone else had this problem? Or is it maybe in my head

This has happened to me on two different occasions separated by 5 years. I've also noticed that prednisone changes for a lot of energy, and mood too.

R&D: After my first day on 10mg of pred I felt more energy and a better mood, once I had 20mg and was defintely hypomanic. I´ll have to cut back on pred before doing psilocybin (for anxiety/depression/oain) as I suspect the same effect with all drugs.
