Anyone notice how slow forums became?

- Perhaps you need to post some far-left conspiracy theories in the Speakers Corner - to make what balance you seem to feel it needs then? -

- If you strongly object to members discussing whatever theories and/or hypothesis surrounding current events, politics or religion - whether they be deemed left or right or straight up the middle - then I suggest you stay out of that area of the site - for peace of mind -

- I'm not about to censor anyone for their political or religious beliefs - and would rather hear them talk about it - and discuss/debate around them -

Hi Gypsy, Sorry to be a 'snowflake', but i feel strongly that you are abusing your power here by posting threads in favor of far-right conspiracy theories and sticky-ing them. I also feel it reflects very badly on the website.
And for every idiot like me who's prepared to front up and tell you so... you can bet there are plenty more who will just shake their heads, say nothing, and be discouraged from visiting.

I may be just a closet hack who posts some grow-shows and sells some seeds here, but i get a great deal of fulfillment from it and am quite proud of my small achievements.
That pleasure has now been polluted by the knowledge that i am indirectly supporting the promotion of political ideology that i feel is wrong in general and certainly not appropriate as content at a weed site.

- I don't subscribe to all this far-right or far-left bollocks mate - make of what is posted as you will - contest it - debate it - even trash it - in the thread or threads which you are talking about - that's up to you - as it is with any member - participate or not -

- If people shake their heads and are discouraged from visiting the site - due to some debate about whatever is in vouge to discuss at the time in The Speakers Corner - then that's weak sauce - why fixate on just one area of the site - when there is so much more to look at?

Gypsy, it's your agenda mate, you are the one that is posting the threads. If i wanted to discuss subjects like that i wouldn't come here to do it, i'd go to 8chan or Breitbart

Stuff like that just divides people... and imo everyone who comes here should be enjoying the unity of all being weed enthusiasts.. not have divisive and dangerous political ideology thrust under their noses by the owner of the site. They didn't come here to discuss politics and many may be horrified to see such ideas presented as truth in a very one sided way.

I'll try and disappear back to my usual ICmag haunts, i love this site and i've been very loyal to it over the years... I just never thought it would get used as a vehicle for something so one sided and divisive.

- Ahh - like I've said - if you think that something is one-sided in a thread - then balance it out - but if you don't wish to participate in those types of discussions - then don't - simple really -

- No one is ramming any sort of ideology down your throat - you do have to 'click' on a thread to look at it - and if you disagree with it - then say so - in that thread - I'm not about to start censoring discussions because you happen to not like what is being discussed - unless its about making explosions or kidiporn - there are some things not allowed -

- You could post the contents of Das Capital, The Communist Manifesto, The Tibetan Book of the Dead or anything by Dr Seuss here to be discussed - or virtually anything - if you don't agree with what they state within those books - or any of the articles I or others post - you can have your say - in thread - that is what a forum site is for - to discuss topics of interest - and if there was no interest in them - then we wouldn't be talking about them now - would we?

- Well if so - that's good to know - and I think that point has already been covered - in the thread you are advertizing - by all means expound upon the topic within that thread - if you feel like it -

- Presenting what an ideology (political/religious) is exactly about - should be compulsory reading - just so that we can all be aware of it - when/if it comes around - understanding and awareness is paramount - and we have the facility to discuss these difficult topics here - not to censor and discard discussions and debates because you don't particularly like them - I don't particularly like 'The Creature from the Black Lagoon' - but I'm up to discuss why -

The point is that you have presented the threads under your own name, as truth, with no disclaimer or balancing points in the initial posts... and they are stickied so they are always at the top of the board. I see that as propaganda.... and you can't be cancelled because you are the boss !
You are not the victim here, you are the one in a position of power.
