Tom Hill Haze

B

Benny106

Third tom hill haze from one of the last packs I was very lucky to acquire. Shown at twelve weeks into flowering. View Image View Image

One thing i have noticed is the total absence of male flowers in response to any stress so far. Impressively stable.
Only one of five is not a keeper so far and that could just be me growing it poorly. It didn’t finish up but just gave up at 13 weeks and had a cloudy buzz.

Four tom hill hazes and two nevilles hazes are the mothers for my next project, Laosy haze, where a luang prabang laos will pollinate the above hazes.

Sounds fantastic:tiphat:

Have you tested any of those thh repro's you made?

yes, tested only two seeds mostly for germination confirmation.
one im liking a lot and the other was the one that gave up before it finished. Both were grown in about a half gallon of dirt with water only until yellow set in. Topdressing a bit of rainbow mix helped one and fucked the other up. Probably made worse by overwatering.

Also, I made some seeds but five males and one female is not much of a reproduction. Stored pollen will be used on the other two females from the original pack to increase the diversity.
Just wanted to clarify.

Don't know if I posted the really sativa looking Tom Hills, kinda has a cross my buddy thinks his Chem male hit them. But these are really sativa 120 daysish. I grew those about a year ago and was smoking some I still have. I got a clone, but it's 120+day weed. That's what most guys that just want weed. This sativa takes a extra mouth or more, plus nutes, ferts, electric. It's better to keep for myself, I might run her again I've got the cut. I honestly think the first pics I posted that thought was all Haze, but obviously you could tell it was crossed. I'll try to revisit the Tom Hill again, maybe find something special. I mean I love this weed, but not for 120days. It's kinda like you like to keep some around, I'll get away from the hybrids for a few days and smoke on this haze.

am i alone here in imagining that there might be a small % of deep chunk in tom hill's hazes?

as far as terps I would say no. as deep chunk puts some masculine smells into hybrids, and tom hill haze is all about feminine smells. through years I read its crossed with skunk, durban or northern indian... if Tom Hill was breeding his haze outside, some norcal flying pollen could eventually contaminate haze genepool, but like you said really small % it would be..

I was going to ask in the other thread what this plant is? I see there's no need to ask anymore :)

How long did it take for this stage of flowering?
Planning ahead my hazy summer run, THH is in top 5 along with OHaze, one of them will be grown for sure.

Cheers

I know that some still try to show tom hill haze as not pure haze or not pure sativa etc.. I have big respect for Tom Hill and I am sure he can tell difference between pure haze and hybrids.. but even if he would lie(dont know why he would do that though), it doesn't smoke like haze hybrid.. so what to answer to those who says it is skunkhaze or simply it is contaminated by wld.. since we are in Chimera´s forum, I think I will use words of wise man:

I know a lot of you guys put so much importance on heritage and pedigree, but that's not the most important factor, which is how the herb grows and makes you feel.

I'm about to pop some t.h.h. from madmacs repro.
This will be the most sativa strain I've ever grown.
Can anyone suggest some pointers as far as soil mix, container size, 12/12 from the start?
I would appreciate any guidance. Thanks
