distances between lamp and plants in vertical cultivation

Hello everybody


I would like to try the vertical growing and have a question to know how to arrange the room.

It is about the good distances between the lamp and the plants, depending on the power of the lamp.


What would you advise me as distance for a 400w, a 600w and a 1000w ?

I run 600hps and 2 315’s tip to tip, stacked. They start about 18-24”. 600 they get about 10-12” before i pull em back due to stress. 315’s get 8-10” before pull em back.

Make a cylindrical screen from chicken wire and hang your lamp inside that with a 12” fan on the base
