Frozen trim processing question

Hello everyone,

this might be a stupid question, but nevertheless...

So ice water hash can be made with freshly frozen trim. Now I was wondering why not just freezing the trims, putting them in a ice water bag along with super small rocks to create friction and shake... would that not work properly ?

It would defrost too quickly.

You can however use dry ice.

yeah the water will get warm too quick unless you deep freeze the rocks, also the nets might get damaged by any sharp edges. fastest way will be to add try ice to the 220 bag with the trim etc and give it a quick shake making sure to have a nice clean collecting surface to catch the falling trich heads.

or use ice and water like it says on the box so to speak.
