Actually ancient Jews did use cannabis and it was a component in the holy Annointing Oil Jesus May have used. Eddy Lepp and I founded a church in California documenting the ancient practices that included burning seeded hemp in the temples. BushyOG

I've always thought it was likely Jesus used cannabis in his oils. Cannabis is special in that it calms your mind so you can feel the peace of God's reality. Its hard to describe. The Word says its not through works or wisdom that you come to the knowledge of God. You're saved by God's grace. Living your life doing everything with true love in your heart as your motivation shows God you appreciate your life. He knows we're not perfect. Its a test for His purposes. God is the cause of the reality we live in. Nobody has ever seen God.

God allowed miracles to occur through Jesus because of His powerful message of salvation and freedom from living for and trusting in God. Jesus forever broke every bond of oppression of man, so we could have real fulfillment living our lives in a right way to fit in to God's plan!
Cannabis in the annointing oil would be something that would help people meditate and come to the eye opening saving knowledge of God. It would also help to heal people. Cannabis is a real gift. I know you all are thankful!

Lets pray.

Father in heaven, thank you for the cannabis plant and the healing it provides. Your creation is perfect in every way, and cannabis is such a wonderful gift bringing people together and providing for many needs. Thank you for inspiring us through cannabis, as we watch it grow and in helping us relax and see Your patterns.

Thank you for coming down to earth through Your Son Jesus, to show us the way to true fulfillment of our lives and salvation in our time of need!

The life you give is sacred, Lord, I ask that You continue to bless us with your loving guidance and protection so that we may continue to do your will, and honor you with our lives. Help us to fulfill our rightous role in your perfect creation. I pray for those going through difficult times. I ask that You give them strength and encouragement, and that your presence be felt. Open our eyes Lord to the knowledge of You. Help us to see you at work in and around us. Your mercy and love see us through. Help us acknowledge the work of your hand in our lives. I pray that Your rightous kingdom comes to realty. We trust you Lord. In Jesus name I pray. Thank you God. :smoke:

Ignorance

Ignorance is a lack of knowledge. The word ignorant is an adjective that describes a person in the state of being unaware, and can describe individuals who do not deliberately ignore or disregard important information or facts, or individuals who are unaware of important information or facts. Ignorance can come in three different types: factual ignorance, objectual ignorance, and technical ignorance.

there is an old expression that goes something like "throwing the baby out with the bathwater"

if you can't figure out what that means let me spell it out for you. It is the practice of discarding worth in the process of discarding refuse.

when offered anthropological evidence through the practice of MANY religions that cannabis has been seen as a facilitator to our well being including the part that people use worlds like spiritual or soulful to define (science has recognized the brain patterns of this state it isn't just a notion) people would rather debase the body of an evidence as a whole than understand it

why?

because of a very "fake news" perspective of religion, fake because most of it is predicated on hearsay. and this isn't to sell people on a belief but rather that intolerance breeds willful ignorance

Imagine academics trying to figure out how to study the drug have a conversation like this? instead they try to understand the mechanisms behind the perceived value that has been observed for eons.

Another point of ignorance is aimed at religion itself for which many people get the same well being value that we do from pot.

perhaps being juvenile assholes could be a choice left for juvenile assholes

it is ok to grow up and let your nuts drop and learn some self control

Haven't seen any bombshells here or any evidence Jesus used cannabis to perform miracles, walk on water, bring the dead back to life, or turn water into wine.
An angle you guys are missing is the incense makers. In the old temples and churches incense was burned constantly. In large quantities in confined spaces.
When I was smoking my good hashish the other day one quality it had, when I lit the bowl it kept burning. When I set it down it burned the entire chunk of hashish over 20 minutes. The air was hazy with smoke and smelled divine.
We know incense users used screens as part of their craft, sifting down plant matter. It would be sensible to add dry sifted cannabis to help the stick burn evenly?
In a society without smoking or knowledge of inebriation due to inhaled smoke going to church could be very mystical. I know I tend to have spiritual epiphanies when I smoke hashish. If this tended to happen when you went to a certain holy place with other fellow worshipers it would make quite the impression.
