I wanted to say hi to the forums first of all! Second I have been lurking here for about 3 years, in this time i've built numerous fixtures and thrown them away to do it all over again. I live in Emery's neighborhood and am only interested in one thing, building systems which reduce overall power consuption by 50% (AC Reduction included) while outputting true 1K HPS results.

The latest unit is 720w, consists of 9 modules of 32 custom bin chips of 425/450nm & 630/660nm and 3 modules of 375nm +400nm indicator. Using aluminum plate, aluminum core + ceramic heat sinks and a waterproof IP65 design. The system is designed to be used with a 48V grid in the building.

My V3 prototype photos are attached. Tell me what you think?

well no fan for 720 watts on sinks that small? not sure about ceramic but that has to get hot?

also your running those chips to the ground with that much power?

I abouslty love the clean design and layout, but efficiency... Im not sure about

can I ask, what is meant by, you live in Emerys neighborhood, marc emery?

what are those slugs on the back? the ceramic plates?

also have to say I'm not a fan of those style hangers, take sup way to much head room

not gentle, but not a bullshitter

Thank you! All good questions.

I will clarify, the photo you see there is 3 out of 9 modules, and 1 UV module between them. Each module is 32 chips @ 76~w and each UV module is 4 chips @ 11~w
300 chips @ 720w (All are 5w chips)

Those are ceramic blocks and these have been engineered to last 65k hours based on temperature at ambient 25C

Hangers are inexpensive and can be changed to anything preferred, I'm not a hanger specialist at that.

Sorry I did not clarify well enough and yes where mark emery is from.

I have to chime in as to why are people still chasing after the Edsel of grow lighting? LED's just cannot compete with DE lighting. They just can't.
