700 Medicinal uses of Cannabis Sorted by Disease

700 Medicinal uses of Cannabis Sorted by Disease

Good list of benefits. If you're interested in Cannabis Strains, seek recreational legalization, which encourages clinical and scientific research and allows individuals to experiment with the effects of Cannabis Strains or varieties.

The first step is for the DEA to acknowledge one of these 700 medicinal uses. From a general understanding of the medical marijuana industry in Colorado, medical marijuana doesn't have a sweet high. I don't think Haze will calm your children, or reduce PTSD.

IMO, Cannabis can provide the Don Juan effect ie. spiritual awakening, or alignment with the natural energy of place and spirit. Some believe disease happens when your mind and body lose touch with the natural energy and spiritual energy of your world. Haze could be helpful for this type of healing or awakening.

A big problem with industrial production of our food and cannabis is the use of pesticides and herbicides which diminish the benefit of food and cannabis. Also the cannabis parallel of Pharmaceutical heroin / opiates that kills tens of thousand of people every year with the claimed benefit of reducing pain.

I think the only difference is as stated, either Sativa or Indica.
Other than that there's little difference between the two strains. But there is a major difference between the sativas and the indicas.

I barely feel indica for whatever reason. So I don't buy indica, but when I do I find myself sleeping too often.

But Sativas are my life's love. How does anyone pass up on a sativa anyway? I couldn't do it.

There are a few small differences among the sativas. Some are quick to boost your mood while others seem to be really slow.

For me, I have to avoid appetite stimulants. I don't like munchies. As a matter of fact I hate getting the munchies. I love being thin so hunger doesn't fit in with my agenda.

Pain relief is great function of cannabis. I know why they used cannabis in the health industry for so many years. It's far superior to becoming addicted to an opiate.

Relaxation is important to me. So those strains that induce anxiety are killers to me. I have natural anxiety and don't need anymore.

Those are the most important differences between the sativas for me.

I'm gonna go out on a limb & say cannabis strain reactions are just like every other substance: based more on individual biochemistry than the plant itself. You can generalize (THC does this; CBD does that) but people still have wildly different reactions to the same compounds.

For me, lemon terpenes & sativa strains--the two things that are supposed to be most stimulating & uplifting--tend to put me to sleep & make me feel confused rather than focused or clear-headed. Likewise, OG strains & other Indicas are not sedating for me the way others almost universally claim them to be. They're just neutral--neither up nor down. And I can't smoke weed socially at all regardless of strain because it makes my social anxiety worse, which I know is the exact opposite of how many others use it (as a social lubricant).

So yeah, it's all individual. I suppose you could link studies showing the benefits of THC or other cannabinoids with strains that are high in those particular cannabinoids or terpenes, but a lot of that has to do with growing techniques, harvest times & factors other than strain. (I.E. a plant will be high in CBN if harvested late vs. THC if harvested sooner).

...and that's not even getting into the lack of continuity between the same strain from different breeders or dispensaries...The fact that my Ghost Train Haze could have an entirely different medicinal content than his or hers across town. The "phenotype" nonsense breeders use to explain the lack of continuity & stability in their strain lines, lol.

Let me guess, AZ? Only place I've seen people blame the weed for shitty growers.. So now clones are fake and Sativas are a hoax. Gotchya.

Sorry, youre the oddball here. The shit people come up with to defend the corporate weed industry in your own little poisoned [sleepy] minds.. Blaming the breeders stock... I mean indica weed does suck, but Bodhi, Rare Dankness etc aren't putting out hemp.

Look I know exactly what your trying to wrap your head around. You work for a dispensary that sells fake weed. Either spaying pesticides or running the front desk. Assembley line pot worker. If a Ghost Train Haze displays Indica effects, thats a fucked up grower, or a lying retailer, not the strains fault, not the breeder. Ghost Train Haze is consistent on the black market. Affects everyone the same no matter how it varies from grower to grower, you don't have to tell them what high to expect they already know because they bought the shit before, thats why they ask for it again. Making you doubt Cannabis rather than the grower. Thats what you legal lovers don't grasp. Weed is correct, tested tried and true. It always has been. Strains aren't a myth, shitty corporate industries are a reality.

When you have dank, aka home grown, cuz you won't find dank in no store, there is no confusion about this topic. The last Ghost Train I tried smelled like fermented grape skins, because it was soaked in grape skin extract (by the grower not the breeder). Thats not Ghost Train Haze, thats fucking fraud weed. Its not going to give Sativa effects, obviously. And it's laughable to have those terps on a. Sonoran grown Haze even if they weren't fake. The last "Sativa" i bought from a dispensary had no effects other than a totally unnatural narcoleptic sleepiness. Not because Sativas are fake, because corporate growers grow dirty weed that makes you sleepy. I know exactly what your talking about. It's the grower, not the strain that's fucked up/fake/inconsistent.

Harvesting early isn't a technique. Proper/optimum is the guideline to go by. Not Harvesting premature bagseed indica, spraying with lemon water and calling it a Sativa strain. Thats not a legitimate grow variation any more than a scratching a Lamborghini and calling it custom graphics. Its a flaw and we all know it. Some would even consider myrcene a flaw in Cannabis, but I won't get into that, because if you're in AZ like I'm sure you are, the medical program bud doesn't even have this basic terp, at all.

Pretty sure you're in AZ. People are pretry fucked up there.. The Zkittlez smells like Cheddar (biofungicide?), the Bubba tastes like fish guts, the Grape Pie smells like Botanicare, the OG smells like Terpenez and everyone talks how great it all is lol. And it all makes you sleepy and doesn't get you high. Cuz its dirty fake vomit inducing weed. Nothing to do with individual biochemistry or shitty breeders. Shitty scumbag growers.

This fact right here pretty much sums up my view of the cannabis market right now, and how places like Leafly are just so irrelevant. "Look bro- sais here that Headband is an indica and its special for headaches", like seriously, there is ZERO information to back up what the real headband is/was, or if each of the 10,000 dispos are running the proper version! It all means nothing.

And the breeders lol- smartest people in the room... why go through the pain of growing flower perpetually or working a "strain" for 5-10 years when the market is paying $10 a seed for poly-hybrid untested beans?
