-dr budds madness- 12 pounds per 1000 watt life question

according to doc buddz who ive learned plenty of off, you can yeild 12 pounds of bud with a 1000 by having like 800 little cutting or 22 ounces of a 400 by taking close to 200 cuttings, i know theese figures arent necessarily half of each other but if you read his post thats the example he gives, im wondering if anybodies doing this method, or even close to it, the estimates that doc gives are at a modest 5 grams per cutting and it seems logical to me, ive seen plenty pound per light grow with thousand watt bulbs and nine plants per bulb but have yet to see anybody embodying this meth, any attempts out there? :dueling:

if that was possible i would think that everyone would grow that way... i think that guy is full of something.... lol 200 cutting at 5grams is only alittle over 2 pounds so if im reading this right you would put 1200cutting under a 1000w... that shit dont make sense im hopeing im reading that wrong... Your boy your hearing this off is crazy.... and people should laugh at him.... and even if you used 800 cuts that just insane....

Not to mention the federal prison time.... 800 plants will give you manditories anywhere....

The popularity of sog brought on by the latest craze is scary. Someone is going to end up over doing it and going to jail for a long time all for " quantity ".

what i thought DrBud was trying to say was to get the same "setup efficiency" or something to that effect, you'd need the so called 1200 cuttings under such and such light. What he meant was that floros would be more efficient...

i dont know for sure, that's just my understanding...plus, as someone else mentioned, i sure as hell wouldnt want 800 plants in my house lol

good luck!

well doc had said that he wanted to retire at thirty and did it, i think one pull of alot of cuttings would pull in the yeilds of say a years worth of growing for even someone pretty ambitious, sort of like a huge risk in a short time over a smaller one but dragged out, i was just curious, i know alot of people are thrilled with a pound a bulb so i was just wondering if anybodys playing with this idea, but common sense does dictate thats its not worth it....the numbers leave u with little defense :dueling:

well if numbers dont bother you, go for it! take pictures, i want to see what 800-1200 plants crammed under a 1000 watt lamp looks like lol

i could only imagine something that could get that many cuts together that close would be like 7 120 ez cloners.... even then the ez cloner sites are so close that they would engulf eachother and half wouldnt finish..... i would love to see it though...

In a sog I average .6 oz. per plant I'm running under 2000w HPS. there is no way if you properly space them out at 5.5" away from each other that you could use that many cuttings.

Ive grown dr bud style and gotten over 1gpw easiy with clones being 12 psf in flower, you get the numbers..it is definitely scalable, but alot of work with that many plants...the watering process can be time consuming as gell....but it works.

I would assume running this high of plant numbers most would be using beds of some sort.
Definitely not cost effective if cloning in rock wool or rapid rooters
