First grow, auto, bagseed and landrace

Hello all!

I do have another thread but I'm officially starting a journal. Thanks to all those who posted in my other thread I hope to see you guys here!

I discovered Icmag years ago while living in Virginia and was extremely interested in growing weed. My first few attemps were always foiled by deer or paranoia. I read lots of cool things on Icmag about old school strains and have always wanted to try breeding or at least making my own stocks of seed from plants I like.

Im living in Colorado now (4 years) and I'm mad that It took this long to start growing lol. I just don't want to flower indoors due to nasty carpet hairs (sounds stupid I know). Trying to find a cool place to grow outdoors. I do own some land but it's 3 hours away and I'm currently not living there. So this is the first step to bigger things.

Currently have 2 auto diesel hazes, one severely stunted from abuse but recovering and the other my biggest and best plant.

My bagseed plant is also a tiny bonsai at over a month old but growing. I discovered that whats stunted my first few plants was most likely the dollar tree starting mix. My best plant was planted in it's final pot with miracle grow organic, perlite, worm castings and DR. Earth herb and flower.

I'll include a current pic of the best plant which is just dying to go outside. Have a great weekend you guys.

Good luck... interested in how auto hazes do. What is the landrace you are growing?

Yeah I'm wondering when the hairs are going to show on the autos, I know sometimes they end up being photos due to the hybridization.

The landrace I'll be growing will be Sheevathali from Telanga India, once the seeds arrive (fingers crossed). Here's a pic of the dried bud form of the strain according to the seller:

Maybe it's the pic quality but that looks like he's holding a tuft of fresh sphagnum peat moss that somebody just dug out of a peat bog lol. Good luck though hope it all goes well for you

LMAO you're right. Typically whenever I see pics of weed from india its mostly seed. This batch looked better but nothing like proper manicured western buds.

I've been slacking. Gotta transplant smaller plants into bigger pots. Gotta move a few to their final spots in the great outdoors. Nervous to see them go for sure. One lanky ass plant I'm sure is a male. Cant wait to see how the bonsai does in the better soil blend. Trying to clone the auto since I had to prune it so many times. We'll see how it goes.

Looks like you are doing a good job they look pretty healthy. I've never grown outdoors but you gave them a good start in life so they should be fine. Good luck man:tiphat:

Pumpkinpie, I've decided not to turn the cuttings into clones its just a waste of space at this point so you're right.

Birdofhermes thanks again for all the posts, noticed on your sig you're dipping for a bit (unless thats out of date lol). I'm trying to take the axe to some of my internet use as well.

The diesel haze auto has shown its preflowers a few days as go at under a month old. Finally managed to get a decent pic. The other diesel haze auto recovered and is growing nicely. Bagseed bonsai patiently awaiting a transplant into the better soil. Training day bagseed a leggy mess looks LSTd on its own lol.

I was gonna take a break but changed my mind for now. Your babies are looking great dude keep it up! Peace and good luck:tiphat:

Finally pruned the shit out of the big plant. I had only done a few bottom fan leaves. After its massive haircut the next day while it was outside taking a nap got hit with a hailstorm. Haircut #2.

Thankfully the little plants weren't hit too bad. The bonsai has finally been transplanted into better soil. The lanky plant finally got some strength and is no longer blowing over in the wind. I gave the stunted auto that recovered to a coworker.

Joined a page on facebook called "cannabis seeds traders". Made a trade for some old school bagseed from some guy's dads collection that was started in 1985 and supposedly saved from the best stashes all over the country. He'll trade 3 seeds for 1 autoflower seed. They are old but still germinate. Hes got about 100 left if anyone is interested. Sprouted about 2 of those and gave 1 to a coworker.

Outdoor spot almost ready to go. Considering spraying a weak hot sauce water concoction as a initial pesticide. Anyone try this before?

Hoping to get a new tent and setup shortly. Big plant got a bit light burned but is recovering. Hoping to get it outside for good in the next few days.

Man I had to give that a double take to make sure it was weed. I'd love to know what that smokes like and what the high is like.

Diesel auto doing good. Needs to go outside permanently . I get direct sunlight on my balcony from 3pm to sunset is that enough? Other plants doing ok.

Gonna try this again. Not sure why I couldn't post my pics yesterday.
