Year old Coco, still useable???

I mixed it up and over made about 20gallons or so. Its been sitting in garage [winter and summer months] lid on it but realized lid was at some point smashed and partly broken. Can i risk using it? Anything i should do IF I use it? I dont want to toss it out if i dont have too. But don't want to use it if itll risk my crop.

If you pasteurize the lot then you will have useable medium without fear of bugs or mold.

Just hot boiling water? Should i soak for certain time?

I use a rice cooker, stove top is fine too.

Rolling boil for no less than five minutes, then off heat covered for twenty minutes.
Stir it up, then pour off through a strainer and rinse to EC 0.1 +/-.
