to do it fairly you need 2x 315chm. per 600 hps.
this will def yield more than a single 600hps
specially if you use the large adjustawings
with 2x 315's in each fitting.
obviously this will be more expensive to get the lights
but the quality should return your investment.
the new
LEDs are poss the way to go,
but still too expensive for the general grower.

Not sure if my reply was deleted. I am normally very easy going but, the fact that this thread is still alive is amazing. Heather is quite obviously not qualified to comment in a forum like this. If you suck at growing and don't know what the hell you are talking about, don't come here and slam a proven and well known lighting tech.
Maybe ask a few questions about other factors that affect results. Learn a little and then contribute when you have something worthwhile to contribute.
