Geezus. That's the part I was not entirely sure about, that gangs actively sought out this kind of information. I can see why they would, but I guess I didn't give them enough credit. So in NorCal outdoor grows have essentially spawned a cottage industry of rippers? Have there been any documented cases of a licensed/card holding grower shooting a ripper and getting off because it was an attempted robbery? Or do they get fucked from having the gun, period?

We don't have an outdoor scene here so that aspect of rippers isn't something we have to consider. Indoor rips are rare and usually come from someone that knows you.

Growers that shoot rippers and get caught get fucked because guns. Its bullshit. There will be plenty we dont hear about this season because of this.
