$260,000 in marijuana seized at Valley Village hotel

A Santa Rosa man was arrested after deputies seized marijuana with an estimated street value of $260,000 at his Valley Village hotel room, authorities said Thursday.
Michael Walsh was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of marijuana for sale and booked at the Malibu/Lost Hills sheriff’s station, according to an L.A. County Sheriff’s report.
Following up on a three-week investigation, sheriff’s narcotics detectives served a search warrant at Walsh's room at the Best Western Plus Mikado Hotel at 12600 Riverside Drive.
Investigators discovered 16 pounds of marijuana, five pounds of concentrated cannabis and more than $10,000 in cash, according to the report.
