Interested to see how these amendments work on big plants through the cycles, taking my seat.

I'm in!

I'm interested to see how your feeding regimen works. I've always been fascinated by organic no-feed formulas but never understood how much to initially add or how to ensure the plants are out of food by the last few weeks of flowering.

Can't wait to see those walls full of viney goodness!

Ok. First, lets start with a bit of a disclaimer as far as this whole organic water only regimen goes.
I don't know jack shit about organics. I don't claim to. This is my 1st time doing an all water only grow. I am jumping into this head first based on the excellent results Phillthy (and others) have been having with the NSPB.

I'm pretty sure there should be more than enough food in there tho. These were small 6 inch pots, and they've been transplanted up to 3.4 gallon airpots (which kick ass!). I'm actually more worried that I may not give them enough time for the roots to fill the pots. We'll see how fast they over veg.

This is all a learning experience. If the plants look starved at the end of the grow, then I'll adjust the mix with more NSPB next time. Its obvious the NSPB works imo, its just a matter of getting it to work for me. P was already running a water only mix with great results. He said his grow improved greatly when he switched to NSPB. That's more than enough proof for me to switch.

We'll see how it goes....

I'm truly flattered! And quite surprised to say the least...you are a resourceful person for sure...I can only assume though what means you snagged a bag. The different garden supplies never called me for a restock, but it is always a unique pleasure to get to watch and see a grower such as your self..putting something you do very well aside and your stash at risk to try something new.

On a side note, I was seriously thinking we were due a new growing style...a new limit pusher...it seems the vertical guys are the most innovative gpw pushing folks on site. I've seen MULITIPLE threads I could use to support this statement...this thread gets my particular interest...hehehe, but biased at all, lol. But honestly, I've got a vert around some 5gals now...virgin, don't tell! Ironically appropriate, I say.

W.o.W indeed, brother!

This is a pretty small world bro. The internet makes it alot easier to find things you want :)
I'm pretty confident its gonna work out. Never really thought of it as putting my harvest at risk. I'm betting it turns out better than before. Thanks again for all the hard work bro!

As far as the vert goes.. Go for it! I'm happy to see more and more people making the switch. It's not for everyone, but it works great for me. There are some very innovative grows goin on in the vert forum.

Marlo, glad I found this thread, I know you will make this grow work, I'm even more glad that this isn't a World of Warcraft thread (ugh). Can't wait to see how this turns out. Still trying to figure out if vertical is worth it.. Good luck

NICE show Marlo!!. Always loved your vert grow....can't wait to see this. Very creative with the wall of screen & pipe cleaner anchor, great way to keep stress down while maximize .

The idea of no pH-ing, checking ppm, etc.....just coco/FFOF/NSPB and water.......is super appealing. I'll have an eye on this one for sure! Giving me some ideas.....:tiphat:

the summer is over and marlo is at it again ...... fuckin' cool

I was counting the days til september all summer long. I'm ready for fall weather.

Still trying to figure out if vertical is worth it..

Vert isnt for everybody, but a good majority of the growers that I've seen come thru the vert forum and make the switch always say they're never going back. There is a bit of a learning curve...and you will take a few runs to dial in your set up, but once you get going, vert is great.

I'm not sure how many ways I can be more productive with this space and keep a single digit plant count. Vert is pretty efficient imo.

P.S. if anyone wants to see what a first time vert grower can do with some solid advice, check out Aerohead's 1st vert grow. Incredible. It's a sticky at the top of the vert forum.

Hey Chunky. Thanks for comin thru.
I hope vert is good to you!

From one scrog fan to another. Welcome!

The simplicity was a big part of me trying this. Then the whole organic thing is appealing too. But the potential for it to be easier and better than before, was a big plus .

Oh yeah...also had a plush encounter recently....hit like bubble, lingered greasy strawberry...and slapped ya proper on the forehead! Well done on that!

The air-pots...PRETTY! That already takes it new levels...those things rock!

I'm really glad you liked the PLUSH. I'm staring at 25 or so packs I need to send in for the server fund. I'm tryna figure out the best way to send em bcus the last beans I sent over the pond, didn't make it. (I didn't forget you _ _ _ _ _ _ :)) Gotta get it right next time

I've grown all these plants before. Here's what they look like in flower. We'll see if the NSPB will give us better results.

SOur Diesel IBL #2

My favorite pheno from my seed run. She was the smallest goin in and had a very respectable yield compared to the bigger plants in the room. Stocky plant. Full of bud. This time going in, she's got some size to her....lets see what happens :)

'08 DOUBLE STRAWBERRY DIESEL

Can't say enough about this girl. Been running her for a while.
This is the plant thats gonna let me know how good this NSPB works. I know how this girl is supposed to yield, smell, taste and how she's supposed to look @ 70 days.

SFV Sour #1

Very tasty 50/50 pheno. She did have a cpl nanners 1st grow. Nothing excessive...less than 10 on a good sized plant. We'll see if she's grown out of it.

Marlo,
First off kudos on the kick butt grow room. It really is an ingenious use of space.

Now to my questions:

I am jumping into this head first based on the excellent results Phillthy (and others) have been having with the NSPB.

1) Do you have a link to a thread where they use this feeding regimen?

2) Where can I purchase this NSPB? What is the cost of it?

3) What are the ratios that you are using with the NSPB? I see in your photo that you have that bag of NSPB with the FFOF. Did you mix one whole bag with the bag of FFOF? Or did you first dump the bag of FFOF with an equal amount of coco THEN add the bag of NSPB?

Thanks for your time partner,

Here is a great thread on NSPB Full life formula. Check it out...

I used the one bag of FFOF and an equal amount of coco, then added the bag of NSPB to that, and mixed it all up. Others use variations of similar mixes. Check out that link... way more info in that thread.

The people at NSPB are working hard to get this product out to the public. Hopefully sooner than later. As far as I know, all the retailers that carried it locally, are sold out. I was lucky enough to snag few off a friend who picked em up a while back.

nice theme song

wonder if it would make much of a difference if your cage-net was white instead of orange

any reason you're going with 50/50 instead of 75% coco?
