The same spot with water, you can go over to the little Island Neuwerk, if the Tide is low.

Awesome guys, nice to see this taking off. Nice deer shots Jim, thanks Herman, love that old European architecture. Peacehunter, wow, I've never seen photos of Italy like that, you're giving me the travel bug right now.

So I took a nice ride up North over this long Easter weekend. went up to 90 mile beach to see how my bike would do on the sand. Spoiler: the beach is only 85km's long so not sure where the 90 mile bit came from, but my god it was the most fun I've ever had on a motorcycle. Exhilarating but also terrifying when you hit a soft spot at 140k's and your back wheel spins out causing you to wrestle the 189kg beast out of throwing you off. Anyways, here's some shots, my internet connection is buggered so couldn't upload all of them but got a few good ones none the less.


Opononi an amazing place that simply lends itself to these types of photos.


the 'highway' at 90 mile beach, can't really stop the bike so this was taken in full motion, surprisingly it turned out well.


The sunset at Ahipara, the town that sits on the bottom of the beach.

I have a couple others I may post late once my internet shit is sorted. Managed to sit my bike down in the soft sand on the way back only to get pulled out by a couple of locals going down for a smoke on the beach. The fellas shared their excellent smoke with me and I bought them a box of beers for the effort. All in all a great trip, even managed to meet a lovely woman at my campsite. Cheers for the posts guys, lets keep this up.

Once I made this Picture of a bumblebee, looking very strange.







Between here and the hill on the other side, was the german/german border in the cold war. Itīs in the Harz area. The mountain is the Brocken. In one night a year, the witches make party on the top.

Unfortunately, many (the most beautiful) have already been used for exhibitions, so I do not trust to put them here ...

this is the same tree as the first photo posted, the side sheltered from sun is completely frozen, unlike the most exposed one...
