Panama and Tikal pretty soon finishing 3rd week of flowering. Tikal was a beast in veg, but seems to flower slower. Thinking about giving it a first dose of organic bloom nutes. These plants survived 2x 30min transportation in -25 degrees and endured 3 nights in +10-15 daily temperatures.. strong genes :P

Nice ones Mr Smooth.

Here's PCK x Panama a month ago and now. Got these seeds from dubi last summer...third attempt as the first seeds didn't germinate and this last one had to be babied and pried out of the shell. I did take cuts. She's under 3000k cobs, all organic soil (coots mix basically), mini clover mulch, worms and being fed all kinds of teas. Most healthy plant I've ever grown so far. I'm finally starting to get it I think, lol.

Anyway, this beauty is about 6 weeks into flower now. Very robust and dense plant that has filled in nicely. I've been bending it out several times a week to give it a bushy bowl shape and the canopy has developed pretty evenly. The buds are getting sticky and fragrant, although I'm not detecting much of the berry or lemony aromas that you might expect from the respective parents which I have grown before. Smells a little more like a Kali China cross to me actually at this stage. A bit of sweat socks and old spice.

There is a lot of frost already on the leaves and the buds are not as large or densely formed as you often see on other varieties, so that's making me think this is a very leafy hash plant expression. I'm seeing a purple tinge starting on the small leaves so most likely a combination of cool temps and genetics that are going to turn this girl purple as she continues. It's fun to watch and I'm in no hurry.

Also one shot of the Panama x Tikal. I'll try to snap some more of this one. I wasn't able to take proper care of this one and just let it do what it wanted to do basically, which as far as I can tell was to stretch like crazy. I had it in a small pot for too long so it got root bound and wasn't getting enough to eat despite a rich soil mixture, top dressing and feedings. Next time I try the pot restriction on stretchy sativas I will remember to up pot sooner I think, or just deal with the stretch.

This thing smells like peaches and candy, around 6 weeks into flower. Intoxicating aroma! I didn't take a cut but will be attempting to reveg this one after chop.

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to share some progress on some of the new crosses I'm preparing for!

I am currently testing 2 x Malawi, 2 x Bangi Haze, 1 x Congo, and 1 x Pure Africa females in flower. I have pollen collected from 1 x Congo, and 2 x Hawaiian Maui Waui males and have three clones of each that are going to get pollinated in 4-5 weeks.

My neighbor ordered the seeds and I was interested in helping him lock down the genetics for his seed collection.

Here are the plants when they got transplanted to 1 gal bags, in an 8x8 4x600hps air cooled room...

Here are the 6 females I scroged out on day 4 of 12/12. Bangi's in front, Congo and Pure Africa in the middle, and Malawi's in the back...

And here they are at day14 of 12/12, after being scroged again...

Sorry about the pics, ICMag noob...

Here is one of the male Hawaiian Maui Waui's I plan on using...

And another shot from above...

And here are the seedlings after being transplanted into 1 gal bags...

These are the females after transplant from 7 gal bags to 15 gal pots, and after installing netting and first scrog...

I know my first few uploads are sideways, but I promise I will orient them correctly in the future.

Female Seeds C99 x Zamaldelica

new cross that has been flowered out. very happy with the way this went, it will be my main source of Zamal work for years to come.

Some background on the mom. I grew out two feminized seeds of C99 from a female Seeds release. One was the much talked about pineapple pheno, but I used the sister for the cross. The sister lacked the pineapple terpenes and was very tall and spindly compared to the pineapple. Very fluffy birds and not very potent as it required several bowls to get where I wanted, but the quality of the high as absolutely amazing. Zero anxiety or intense come up or down, it was a super in your head sativa that did not tire you out or make it hard to do your daily tasks. Very nice smoke but just not potent or vigorous enough to bother repeat growing.

Decided to cross with Zamaldelica to try to up the potency but keep the same clear amazing high, with great success.

The Cindy dominant females smelled of pure tropics, passion fruit, mango, and a heavy soft cream aroma. The mother contributed the soft terpenes and the Zamal the tropical notes. They grew extremely fast an flowered out with the same 7 week flower as the mom. High was very very heady, keeping the same base sativa high as the mom but so potent now from the Zamal that it exhibits similar dimensional affecting qualities.

Still waiting to test the now drying Zamal dominant female. This one is special, my Queen Zamal. It started out growing like a straight Zamal, extreme branching and no definite main cola. Once in flower it was much better behaved. Had mostly the same aromas as the sisters but with more African spice. Flowers also filled in better and still roughly a 7 week flower although I had to take it a little early.

Queen Zamal
