Flying out of
Hey there icmagrz. To my fellow Left coasters ; sup with the airports and ones stash?
I remember hearing some fantastic stories of passengers flying with half bows and fulls. Albeit to fellow canna states. But this was during the wild wild med 215 days and not now. Let's hear your stories success or fail. I have a trip coming up to a canna state and do not want to consume anything not my own. I'm sure you all can relate..... |

TSA will not seize medical and will not tip off Leo at your final destinationwith a reasonable amount (8oz.). It was in Sacramento Bee newspaper.

So basically....take my homegrown 6 plant rec harvest. Cram a z into a jar and slapp a med sticker with my name on it. Back into my bag and hope for the best? (Not med any more 100 bucks a year? it's a racket ).
Previously I would do that and have my doc note but it was never questioned and the cops were never needed to verify my papers. I suspect the same unless the presence of rec are making them double check the passengers status? |

From what I can tell, it's still technically illegal to fly with weed even in rec states but all the news articles I've found say cops won't do anything if they find your stuff and you're within the rec/med quantity limits. Essentially they have to call it illegal because it's illegal under federal law which governs airports but the local law enforcement sees it as legal because it's legal under state law.

Yeah kinda what I was thinking. If the fibs or the bp were on this then yeah but we all know they got a bigger job keeping out bad guys and keeping the steel birds in the sky. Just wondering if Cali suddenly got extra vigilant. Thanks for what it's worth.

I hear a lot of stories of people flying med state to med state with weed and no issues. California is supposed to not train their TSA dogs for weed anymore.
I’ve gone through Sac and San Francisco in the last few months with luggage that has weed smell and residue with no issues. Did get hassled for water bottles as usual. I still don’t fly with anything on my person, rather go without than deal with out of state charges from whom ever. A properly prepared care package that arrives at my destination is better for me. I’ve been detained at customs before trying to cross with meds, no bueno, even when your in the right it’s possible to run into a hardliner that will just not let you pass with it. |

As long as it don't smell like a bomb and the package doesn't look like a bomb. So no sulfur bud and no cvaults..
