Hi Hesh!
I'd run the Chaco Nev's Sis over NHM every time.
That line is amazing.
Chaco's Nev male brings the sweet haze incense and Haze A effects in a fast package with big resin coated calyxes. High potency. The plants have great structure, vigor, and resistance to typical garden problems.

Be interesting to see which you preferred compared to the Grail.

Looks like Shanti's Nev selection in the grail is very sativa.
Seems logical if you are trying to lock down one or both of the haze traits, but why take the simplest haze cross and select against the traits you tried to add in the first outcross (faster flowering, denser flowers, higher resin production).
Then, hybridize it with a different (less desirable?) plant with the intention of adding faster flowering, denser flowers, and higher resin production?

Seems to me like the keeper in a great Nev's selection does not reject all NL5 traits, but keeps the best from all 3 parents.
I think that's what Chaco did.

BTW: Chem's Sister > any Widow ever IMO ;-)

Wow I wish it was similar situation up here in the "dirty north". Trust me at this time of year it's dirty and gross but if I ran all the NLD's I wanted I couldn't pay my power bill which is so absurdly high, it blows my mind. How could a state with this infrastructure have the highest rates in the entire 50 states? Ah, I'm just shooting off my mouth because when I moved here it was 11 cents /kwh and now it's close to 23 cents.
I shouldn't be complaining but I feel like I'm confined by an uneducated market of younger people who don't understand "how it used to be" but they have their place and I don't begrudge them for not having had the chance to live through the 70's and 80's when all this was far more rich and there was, perhaps, more pride in quality over quantity. Sure there were loads of jerks, there always will be but these hipsters I see around at the grow shop, sorry but they wouldn't have stood a chance " back in the day" so to speak. Now they have Dads money to open a dispensary, that shit burns my balls.
Bought a bag from a dispo in Montana and it came from one of the slickest looking buildings I've ever seen. Flowers were straight botrytis mold. They have all this money and turn out shit, I'd seen better flowers come out out of a Columbian fishing trawler. My apologies for ranting but some hipster just cut me off, red flannel, beard the whole thing. Maybe it's like Steely Dan said " and I'm just growing old, hey nineteen..."
See what happens when I don't have a camera anymore. I have the best sour d I've ever run and no camera and some really slick hybrids from Relentless that are leaning heavily to the NLD dominance. Better go trim and cool off. It wasn't for the friends I've made here at IC I'd be back living under a rock out in the high desert. If it wasn't for these guys... hell I don't know. Still operating as a one armed bandit so things are going slow trim wise and typing is a real chore but I'm still rolling. Just wanted to pop in to shake off the turbulence that hipster laid on me. Fuck it I'm posting this!

I have 2 clones I found in those same F2's running right now and after about 40+ days of 12/12 they're starting to look pretty good. It's a bit crowded in that tray with a few other Nevs Blueberry X Sour Grape cuts I'd saved from last fall. These OG Cookie Hazes from Relentless though are really coming into shape. There's 4 females that I saved cuts from and they're all great, super smelly plants, loaded with glistening trichs, After a slow start they're looking like some of the best seed stock I've run in a good while.
Not sure of the exact way he combo'd the 3 but to my eye and nose the SSH part may have been 50% of the mix but the best part is that they have that smell of the older SSH and a heavy OG odor mixed up. We were checking them over yesterday and were truly impressed @ day 45 give or take. They look like they'll go 80+ days so I'm looking forward to the outcome.
Hoping to flip the OGBK 2.0 and Sour Dub today. Finally cleaned the room out, scrubbed it down etc, just have to drain and wash the rez and they're in there. The weather's changed for the better so I'm running them up there no matter what.
Crazy enough I've been smoking some Glue stuff I took to 80 days. The stuff is still impressive no matter how hyped a cut it is, I hadn't run one in a good while. I wrapped up and sealed all my sour d for the future and kept an oz or so because I need that in the morning, noon and night. Having had so many so so runs of that one that were good but when it's right I have to keep it stashed.
It's been one of the roughest months I can remember weather wise but now that I finally paid down my power bill I can let loose without worrying about the lights going out. Can't fight the power company, that would be like me taking on a Navy destroyer with my 25' boat and a pellet gun...

Lots of action over there as always, sounds tasty brother!

That’s the one thing I DONT miss about being out there... my power bill was insane! Pretty much half the cost where I’m at now... and what I really want to get into is some solar panels.

It's good to hear it's not just me. When I hear what other people are paying for power in less "civilized" states I'm nearly in disbelief. Remember in all the old westerns some guy would show up from Boston and everybody rolls their eyes... as Boston always stood for the urbane, ultra civilized, law and order, hyper educated place. It may be many of those things and I can't speak for Boston as I've only been to the airport there but state wise you would think the liberal establishment would have the power companies playing "fair", in a relative sense anyway.
That same liberal establishment though allows me to grow whatever I want and unless you're some high roller you're not going to find a bed at the states expense in a private prison. Honestly I think you would have to murder at least 2 people to lock yourself a spot in the jail...I'm being slightly sarcastic there but truly you'd have to work pretty hard to spend one night in jail for anything canna related. So my power bill is too high, things could be much worse, esp when I see what others have had to go through in less lenient states. Just don't flaunt it and you'll be fine. I could drive through stop signs all day with 10 oz in my car, not that I would but they care as much about cannabis as they do lettuce if you're over 21.
Across the street though is the National Park and that's another thing, another world, loaded with feds that do not play around so I don't ever go that way with even a gram in the vehicle. No sitting in your car watching the surf and having a puff or two.
