I'm with you. My space case shows absolutely no signs of wear after 5 years other than on the outside from getting knocked around a little. It's like anything else, I figure, with extremely minute quantities of microscopic metal coming from mixers, meat grinders & so forth. My personal level of exposure has been much higher as a mechanic for decades.

look out for a something cnc machined that´s made out of stainless steel.
a little pricey, a little heavy but indestructable and worth every penny in the long run..

i´ve seen one from a company called blackleaf that looked really nice..
they´ve models with and without pollen sieve.

My favorite:

Herb Mill XL
https://www.storz-bickel.com/eu/en/s...b-mill-xl.html

It's bigger than the usual grinder. Nothing sticks inside and due to its size it's very easy to move. High quality like everything from Storz & Bickel.

I park the buds in a paper cup on the window sill, in the sun shine.

Or sometimes on top of a lower power ballast for a 250 watt light in the veg room.

It dries them slowly out so the grinder is essentially, my fingers.

I prefer to smoke small bowls of powdered bud. Complete combustion. Would be a lung-buster if I wasn't using a water pipe.

I can see a grinder would work better if you're smoking a joint/ spliff. Inhaling powdered bud is a buzz kill.
