The National Rifle Association took a historic gamble in 2016, and it paid off in a huge way.
The gun rights group placed multimillion-dollar bets on Donald Trump and six Republican Senate candidates locked in highly competitive races. It poured $50.2 million, or 96 percent of its total outside spending, into these races"
This arrogant drivel is why nra membership and sales of the scary black rifles have skyrocketed.

Hell, even cbs admitted those idiot kids marching did more to sell weapons than to push for gun control.

I agree 100%, but that's not a 2nd amendment issue....that's a lobbyist political financial problem...and a big problem too. The private sector sticking their fingers into our governmental process has been going on for years, not just here but across the pond too..from the NRA to Exxon they buy our elected officials like whores on the street corner.

If the baby is born then I consider it a life.

To answer your question I call it abortion.

I have a lot of respect for the kids that are marching. e.g. David Hogg & Emma Gonzalez.

They have a right to expect safe schools.

As far as what they're supposed to know, at age 16 or 17, after being on the receiving end of American education ... it's amazing they know anything.

As far as school safety, I would shut schools down for a week and then re-open them with safety measures comparable to courthouses. American courthouses installed metal detectors etc. in the 1980's - and they seem to be working.

As far as semi-auto's, being able to own one is an amazing freedom.

It's interesting how Cannabis & firearms freedoms interact. It seems that most states can't stand to allow people to possess firearms AND consume Cannabis. You can have the one freedom in some states, and the other freedom in other states.

I guess it depends on how the state wants to make its money.

Abortion is legal, as far into the pregnancy as the second trimester,
as I understand.

It's the mother's right to terminate the pregnancy, based on
current state laws, and the 14th amendment.

It's a nasty procedure toward the end of the second trimester
as the little monster is almost 2 pounds.

Murder is illegal in every state of the union, no question.

Comparing an abortion to murder is false equivalence, by law.

I respect any member's opinion, as long as it's stated as such,
wanting abortion to be illegal is your opinion, a wish. Comparing
abortion to murder is based on a timeline of conception.

When a man ejaculates outside the vagina, is that murder too, I wonder.

As has been said before, if you hate abortion, don't get one.

But to argue your opinion as equal to the law is just weak.

Abortion is legal, no matter what your belief about it is.

That is America.

Nothing wrong with the NRA representing the interests of gun owners who paid them to do exactly that. But autism spectrum, legal pot use, and misdemeanor drug convictions will be easy next-up total gun and ammo ban targets no one will stand up for - the right will sponsor, the NRA will no comment. Even if the right fought it, I'm still not looking to join any lying cheating obstructionist criminally irresponsible kleptocracy reliant on hot buttons, false moralists, spin doctors, conformist patriotic and religious fervor, programming, conspiracy theories and memes, ignorance, and rabid, gerrymandering tools.
