Pinkus es correcto, it was a regular male/female cross. The original semillas came straight from Charlie. I made the cross with a bonsai punto rojo female and mangobiche male. Even though I was happy with those 2 plants, it for sure would have been nice to have a larger group to select from for breeding. Maybe down the line I can make a better selection with the remaining CBG originals. Siever my friend, I think it may still be too early for a smoke report. I don't want to regret saying anything so early in the drying/curing process. Selection is the most important in my mind, because there can be so much variety from plant to plant within some lines. It does seem right now that out of 4 females that the latest finishing one is the most potent. Aromas are really great IMO. Smell is strong. The purple one is spicy all the way like the mother rojo. Black pepper but more complex, not sweet. They all have the spicy aspect from the punto rojo, but the later ones have a more fruity haze smell thats more from the mangobiche side. The high so far is very heady, but not overwhelming at all. I don't think they are couchlock in any way, but I've had to take a nap the last 4 or 5 days, which is fairly uncommon. And I really pass out hard, its seems uncontrollable lol. Thats been with the mexican blueberries also, so I'll chalk it up to the holidaze. |

Nice thread!
Interesting genetics on offer here that's for sure. It's a shame to see more people haven't given the PR a run. I might have to give it a go one day ... |
