Half those kids or better cant even name the three branches of government. Let alone how they are supposed to be a check on each others power.
I blame the parents, these are kids. Is there no one in their lives to teach them to think for themselves? Or has internet celebrity , and likes just destroyed critical thinking in our utes. Sorry, was watchin my cousin vinny again last night. |

These kids will destroy the 2nd if they can, and ignore the long term effects of dumping on the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The multi-generational downgrading of our public education is really paying dividends for the man behind the curtains. We now have kids so completely indoctrinated into socialist ideology... just smart enough to work but just dumb enough to not ask questions, and believe the government is capable of handling all our problems. perfect little bolsheviks churning out of the k-12 drone factory. its sad really.

How the fuck did we go from "children should be seen and not heard " to getting lectured about constitutional rights by kids. When the fuck did unelected children become the lawmakers.

Maybe when they were forced to go to school to learn and ended up getting their brains splattered on the blackboard.
Whoever thinks kids should be seen and not heard sounds like a POS to me. |

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/23/o...s-america.html This weeks school shooting was thwarted by an Armed School Resource Officer, yet I have barely heard anything in the media about it? We need metal detectors and either a competent SRO or private security in ALL schools. I'm not trying to disregard the concerns of these kids, but technically the chances if dying in a school shooting are slim, compared to say, driving a car. |

Australia doesn't have a ban on guns, there are just more restrictions.
That's all i would expect, and i think those kids expect, a plan of some sort to lessen the saturation of guns and make it harder to obtain them in the future. I know most gun fanatics wouldn't be interested in any sort of buy back, but slow progress is better than none. Who says an amendment can't be modified? Isn't an amendment a modification in the first place? What if people in the future can produce chemical or nuclear weapons in mass, should everyone have a right to them? I don't think so..... It's just common sense and an open mind i think the kids want, not 'taking all the guns' by force or whatever. |

The same kid calling for the abolishment of our 2nd amendment, is bitching the clear backpacks the school is making mandatory are violating his first amendment rights.
You cant make this shit up... well with a straight face. |
