Started a pack of Cherry Chem to run in my test tent. All 12 germinated now just waiting for them to show sex so i can up-pot the females to 3 gallons from 1 gallons. I figured its been awhile since i posted any pics/grows so id start one to liven the place up some. There in a 2x4 tent with a 400MH for veg and a 600HPS for bloom. After this run im switching to a Quantum board setup with 3x 288 boards around 300w. Havent ran any of JJs genetics from seed since Underdawg #1 about 10 years ago. Did have the Corey Stardawg cut for awhile but got rid of it after a year or so. Still remember the smell of the Guava JJ had at the Denver cup few years ago, wish i would have bought a pack of Guava then!

Wish people would check before naming stuff.
Just creates confusion.

Yeah i know, sorta weird being JJs so uptight about the genetic game. I also have Hurkle OG from Cannaventure going and theres a Hurkle strain already by somebody else.

Upgraded 7 potential females into 3 gallon pots. Had to upgrade before they all became root bound, they were close. 5 are showing female and other 2 will show sex soon hopefully. Stuck the 5 males in corner of main bloom room to make sure I didn't miss a girl.

So far there all nice and branchy. A little sweet skunky smell coming off them. They all look homogeneous so far with very similar structure and leaves. I havent not topped plants in forever but figured why not since its just a test tent to find a potential keeper.

5 days into bloom, 7 females out of 12 is great but it's going to be pretty crowded in the small tent. Luckily I'm not worried about yield just looking for the most terp taste flavored girl out of the bunch. Once there's some buds forming I'll snap some pics that are worth seeing. There a little stressed at moment since I had to bloom them a little earlier then I wanted to after upgrading there pots to 3 gallons. Would have liked to let them fill out the 3 gallons another week before bloom but I didnt want to run out of head room in the test tent since they were getting pretty tall.
