My guess is Malawi x PCK or Violeta (purple malawi x PCK). Lots of purps in there and looks just like some.

That purple shade reminds me a lot of pck, not so purple malawi. Maybe you got a cross with pck but dunno if it was out at that time when you got your pack.
Dubi should clarify this, we can only guess and chat ![]() Cheers

I just finished my malawi id been sitting on for a few years. Id say the bud structure was very similar, but i didnt get any purple at all. My room can get chilly, and purples are common, but they were green as green can be.
Mine were probably bought around 2014ish.

I can't speak to the frequency of the purple pheno beyond what you've read, as I've only popped a few Malawi seeds, but yours looks similar to the one I've been running for a year or so now. Mine are normally done 8-9 weeks from pistols. I got two to finish last year outside at 45 latitude. They really are fast. The only issue is that they aren't as vigorous.
My friend grew a cut of mine outside last summer, along with another cut that was from my purple mother pollinated by a male green Malawi. It was a green pheno, but finished before the purple even. The purple yielded 3 ounces and the green yielded 20. So not a great yielder, but I still find myself going for the purple pheno over the green every time. It's got this taste I can't find anywhere else, and the buzz is top notch. Long lasting, energizing, and focusing, as long as I don't overindulge. https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?a...tureid=1829646 |

Yours sounds like the purple plant I grew from the 1st fem release Morglie.Very little vigour compared to her sisters with a very indica type structure. Was also by far the best tasting Malawi girl I had,had a sweet coconut, licorice purple taste and smell to her

I don't think I've ever bought Ace seeds from a wholesaler, always direct from the source
Less chance of screw ups and totally killer customer service. That said, your Malawi pack looked totally legit. In fact, I think I have the same one in the fridge, have to check the date. Only popped one bean from it and she was a green new killer type. |
