I am gonna go ahead and assume I got a extreme sativa pheno and this is genuine. Taste is noticeably lemon lime, which is in line with other reports of Mextiza.

As the buds have been in the jar a couple weeks or so I am gonna give my smoke report. Once the buds have been dried and set a couple weeks I do not notice much change after that.

High is of medium strength, not crushing and not real mild either. Hazy and mellow effect is the most dominate, with no initial rush after first smoking, so a good one for anxious types. Positive feel, no noids at all. Not super trippy which is a disappointment for me. Oaxacan is often said to be very trippy but have not had that much luck with it in that regard with two types. Growing indoors or at low altitude and higher latitude will affect that. I have to grow indoors.

It is good enough that I will reveg it. Has the no heaviness sativa effect without the racy aspect. Good anytime weed, functional too. Chill or be active, either will work with this.

Hi, happy to hear you're smoking Mextiza!

I usually don't feel a massive difference after cure either, but with Mextiza I found it got noticeably more character after the 3-4 week mark. Maybe give it another go then.

I never thought of Mextiza as trippy, it's much too gentle for that but there is a psychedelic "cartoonish" aspect to it that stood out, at least in sun grown buds.

This gets asked from time to time, but is there any hope for a new batch or are we supposed to give up all hope by now? Say it ain't so.

Red snake was the name of that cross, I hope it makes it out for commercial seed production, looks and sounds heavenly.

I'm standing in line for 3 years now for Red Snake, no news of any kind since Kaiki left the forums.
Last thing I remember was word it might come out in few years, so "heavily speculating" it could be this year I bet it would sell out very quickly!

Fingers crossed it happens soon

Cheers

Last run I left it 12 weeks. I have it revegged and will chop at 8 or 9 weeks. It loses too much of the rush and trip if you leave it to mature.

How is that Red Snake then RC?

Hola Koondense,

Still have the seeds along with Pure Oaxacan79 that I have not grown...considering running one of them along side my Copalita and Manipuri this year but so hard to decide.

Saludos
