GDP x Zamaldelica smoke report

Will post pictures when I get home but I felt like writing out the report now while the effects are still fresh.

First I must say thanks to Dubi and Ace, I've been growing on my own because of dispensaries being unable to provide adequate medicine. After doing research I was confident that Ace had what would help me, and boy was I right.

I've been growing/working/testing my own GDP line from the Ken's collective release many moons ago (documented elsewhere if you look hard enough), as it was the most medically effective plant. I've made sativa crosses in an attempt to increase the medical effect since sativa works better for my issues and have gotten close but not quite there yet.

I decided to hit my latest GDP line with Zamaldelica male pollen (2 semi flowering plus tiny thai contribution) to see if I can create a better hybrid. My expectations were honestly not too high, expecting either a simple less clear zamal or less tiring GDP effect.

The hybrid had semi flowering tendencies, GDP orange pistils, light lavender stem rub and very woody smelling zamal leaves in veg. My test plant was in a one gallon container with minimal nutes. In flower the Zamaldelica traits disappeared and my GDP traits were muted, I was a bit disheartened and took it at 7 weeks not expecting much.

After drying and smoking before heading into work I can definitely say that I was so so wrong judging the plant by its appearance. Rather than the sativa and indica effects fighting they worked together in an intense synergy. The first 20 minutes feels like the standard Zam rocket trip where you know you're about to get smacked with something heavy. Once it peaks you get hit with a very nice head stone that pulls you deep into introspection... until the Zam high makes you snap out of it and realize you're high as hell and probably look a little weird to people around you. I sit down to work and twenty minutes later realize I've only been clicking around! Can fall sleep if there's nothing to do due to the heavy head effect but my body feels good and not much affected. My only comparisons would be a similar cross with a Durban Poison skunk that resulted in a pure clean sativa buzz but no introspection, and my Zamaldelica sister that I let go. She was Thai and big and similarly heavy for a sativa. Compared to the Zam sister, this plant finished in half the time and is even more fun due to having some trippy characteristics that were missing from the sister.

Dubi I thought your Zamaldelica would be the key to my breeding, and it's looking more like that is the case. The Zam added extreme potency and trippiness while basically changing nothing about the growing characteristics, semi flowering being the strongest passed trait.

Unfortunately I told myself no more seed popping this year until I sort out which moms to truly keep but this hybrid will be explored more in the future. Already planning on hitting my Zamaldelica keeper mom with the last of my original male pollen to expand the line.

C99 x Zamaldelica up next, already have two test plants in flower and what seems like a clone of my Zam keeper with a Cindy twist in a big pot to veg. Also recently made some Zam keeper x Hapa Haze, Zam keeper x Rio Negro Columbian, Zam sister x GDP, Zam sister x Rio Negro Columbian a small amount of hapa Haze x Zamaldelica with the last Zam pollen, they're sitting in my seed container ripening and tempting me to break my no popping rule

Panama x PNG

This one looks a lot like the Panama at this early stage.
Both the Panama and PNG parents had a red line on stalk and leaf stems and so does this plant.
Let's see what happens.

Short statue cross of ZamalHashxVioleta.
Big thick branch colas and very resinous plant . High is very strong and hard hitting. Prone to a bit of mould. Great strong smell.

First time growing ace sativas. 3 panamas and one tikal in the back right corner. Tikal been my favourite so far, even the bean I got was black as hell and robust, so has been the growth. Panama in the front right is very robust plant. Other Panama in the front got little left behind and lanky but she been catching up.

Some maintenance guys announced once again that they are gonna raid my apartment for a few days, so today we will do a ninja operation to move the plants for a safe, but a little bit poorer and colder location. Hope they don't freak out too much. I have high expectations of these plants
