I have had good luck traveling and being hooked up through the homeless population. Never been ripped by these people. Even fronted on a couple occasions. I guess if they rip you off it's a tax write off, donation.

Have gotten good bud in Oregon and doses in norcal. If it's a bus stop or something, I'd be sketched. If your in their camp or somewhere they hang, it's all good.

I did have some dude come up to me in Chicago at the station. He gives me a nug and acts like he was laying some liquid. I gave him his hudtle just to leave me alone. Had a grand and gave him 20. Saved me 980. All the while some bro selling shrooms and good herb I ran into later. Wasn't look'n myself being interstate traveling and all that.

I would strongly not recommend asking the homeless population in Hawaii for herb and definitely don't go strolling into their camps uninvited.

Safest bet is probably asking some locals at the beach. Don't make it the first thing you ask someone. Probably make it a lot easier if you offer up some cold beers and some fresh Poke and just shoot the shit with some cool folks for a little while before casually asking about it.

Wise words. Instead ask somebody that looks cool. It's not that big a deal in HI, but I would NOT stroll into a homeless camp, at least in Honolulu.
