Anyone have experience using Phillips 315w Dpapillon fixture? I grew one grow with it..yields were poorer than my worst 400w hps grow. Then after the first grow 4200k phillips pulp failed. Now changed to aggro, and after a one week it fails to start too. Starting to wonder if there is problem with the dpapillon fixture itself..got a bad one perhaps..

I run Dpap with greenpower "agro" bulb succesfully from a couple of cycles... no problems so far, for yields I cannot make comparisons since it's the only fixture I've ever used but from what I can say I'm really satisfied with it |

P.S. Just a note... I found that during flowering with this fixture is better to keep the lamp at least 12 inches from the tips even if the "hand" test may suggest to get it even closer...

Main CMH Flower room 3150w. All my 630 DE are 30" from any plant. CMH has a better GPW then I ever got with HPS 1kw.. If I had the capacity to add more wattage here I would. If anyone isn't killing it with CMH there doing something way wrong.

It is about re build time for me.
Pretty well set on de 1ks for the flower room. This cmh action has me thinking I could veg out some more robust girls though. In my internet searching I came across a light from nanolux. 2 side by side de 600s off one ballast... Seems like it'd be a perfect veg light with a couple 630w bulbs. From the add sounds like they are making their own cmh bulbs. Wondering if this is a viable option? I feel like this would suit me perfectly if I am not missing something |

@hammerhead
Would you ever consider changing up your 630 CMH for the new 1000 watt DE CMH ? What are your thoughts on the new 1000 watt de CMH ? |

I have a few 945w I use from time to time ... They work fine in standard ballast. You will lose bulb life but there still claiming 10k hrs in them that's fine with me. Gotta have adequate cooling for them. I don't use AC here. This was a major reason I jump over to CMH.
