Genomic Selection
I'm not a plant breeder yet, and I wonder how far ahead this science is with regards to cannabis. It would certainly speed up selection for potency.

There are big companies doing this now. and honestly they may make some good true breedings strains this way. I hope this doesnt become common process and replace the art and the intimiate passion with cannabis it takes to make a successfull cross or strain. I think human maintaned cultivars will still have their place. This will revolutionize human breeding though. due to the building blocks marker assisted breedings give us.
