Day 70 chopped!

I decided to chop all three early today because I won't have the time this weekend and they all looked pretty good, in terms of my taste. The humidity is so low here now that I only trimmed off the largest and easiest fan leaves as to hopefully aide in slowing the drying process. All three seemed to have nice dense, resinous buds.

CB1

This girl isn't overwhelming in scent compared to the other two. That's not to say she doesn't smell wonderful, just not as powerful as the other two. More of a piney smell.

CB2

This one has a strong sweet, fruity scent to her. Her structure is a lot like number one. The only difference between the two are their scents I believe. Buds are about the same size and density.

CB3

The All-star pheno of this grow. Dense, chunky, resinous buds. Her smell is one I have not encountered so far. I have a hard time describing it, without making it sound bad. Like old citrus. A glass of OJ that has sat out awhile. Pungent. Wonderful!

I will keep a close eye on them as they dry as it is so dry. Humidity is about 30% so I have the temps down in that room to around 68. My plan is to let them dry a bit before putting them in paper bag before jarring.

Growing Summary
I have not been growing all that long but I can say that this strain had been the most impressive autos I've grown out in terms of time, resin production, density, and even ease of care. They were never aggressive drinkers/feeders.

Stay tuned for the dry/cure smoke report.

Beautiful auto plants there. I'm on my second round of autos and did not do a good job on my first round. I hope to do much better this time because I won't use full dose nutes(fox farm) on my Mephisto plants. Maybe 1/2 strength if any at all. Yours look lovely, what size container did you use for your plants? I have mine in 2 gallon with promix organic.. Looking forward to your smoke report.

Hey, bigAl. This was my first run using 3 gallon pots. I previously used 5 but some autos were growing to tall in my tent in that size pot. I will continue with the 3's. I also use fox farms nutes, but very sparingly because I also use their Ocean Forest soil which provides a lot of nutes for the beginning of the grow. These got fed twice with flower nutes I believe. First was at 1/4 recommended then the next was half. Good luck with your girls!

Final Grow/Smoke Report

As a newer grower I started with Autoflower seeds because I wasn't sure how my setup would run, light leaks, heat etc, so I have more personal experience with these types of seeds. Chem Bubbly was, so far, the easiest, and best looking autos I've grown. They were over fed once but never seemed to miss a beat. Truly a plant that does not require a lot of work on the growers part.

I am going to break down the smoke report by describing 3 itself and 1 and 2 together.
1 and 2

These two plants turned out really good in all traits. Tight, dense, resin covered buds. Early in drying/curing they smelled really sweet, like jolly ranchers and as they say longer there sweet smell backed off and the jar smells like fruit. Smooth flavorful smoke that reminds of their smell but with a slight hint of earthiness.

3

This one had the fattest colas of the three. She dried slightly faster than the other two because she was the fluffiest/airy of the three. She is very sticky with resin. She has maintained a light, airy, flowery/fruity smell and her smoke reflects the smell without the earthy flavor of the others and is smooth going down.

Dense bud of Number 1 VS Airy bud of Number 3

The overall effect I get from the smoke is total relaxation and focus. Whatever I am doing I am focused on that and then turn to what else I can do which makes for a good day time smoke. It's also great for the evening when settling in for the night. Nice, sound sleep.

Overall I'm very impressed, and happy with these plants. I would absolutely grow Chem Bubbly again. Thanks to all that have been following along this grow.

Preference.....hmmmm. Tough one. Back in my days of buying bags I would have been happy with either. But, since I have the pleasure of choosing the better of good, I think I like 1 and 2 slightly better. That bit of earthy flavor added to the fruity is pleasant and I've noticed that 3rd one really makes me raid the snack drawer!
