Growmau5 did side by sides. Cob and cob+monos yielded more or less same amounts of pretty identical end product, as far as I remember. Maybe slightly more resin on cob+monos with custom wavelenghts on different timing(changing spectrum during day) but that is a highly custom feature.
There was quite more influence by nutrients used in his test grows. If someone is up to date with growmau5's videos, please comment on this. I don't have time to go thru all the videos again...

PLC makes great lights I could care less if they meet your approval. Multiple gardeners have proven this already. Have fun growing your two plants lol.

Personally never had an issue, neither have I read where anyone mentioned having an issue, although lots of MARS leds have gone up in smoke due to crap materials and engineering
