Ghana Crosses
a few runs ago I left a male from cbg pollinate a room full of different strains.
the following were the females: Durban , from CBG fr seed Durban , from Cali cutting Blue Dream , cutting NL5xHaze , fr Mr Nice seed Dream queen, cutting LMP , cut from breeder. Sour D , cut from DHN nursery 707 Headband , cut I havent tested all of the crosses yet but will be using this thread to keep a log of progress. Heres some visuals. Durban ghana (cali durb) first two photos are ghana pheno, taller slower to bloom ' third photo is durban pheno , shorter and faster to bloom. both are seeded have been pollinated with a sour ghana male.

Sour ghana in front and blue dream ghana rear right
the bdg outgrew the light, i bent the stem and it bled red sap also has purple stem and some color in leaves. not sure which part of the genetics provided the red blood. happy to see this expression come through on the bdg. very sativa with a sweet smell. sour ghana is frosty and stacking with rich dark green leaves. in the same pot as the sour g is an lmpg lmp=(NLxVietBlack) x Bay11 cant see the lmpg to well in pic. everything this round was hit with sdg pollen. |

Veeeeery nice. The Durban Ghana looks great. How much flowering time? Looks quite a lot, buds are faaat

changed light cycle to induce flower in late june. buds are fat especially to have been pollinated, ive been happy with these durbanghanas from early on. Happy to have this durb in seed. I have been smoking the straight durban for the past few weeks, a kind sativa sweet wood smell. Everyone i have shared with has enjoyed with the common feedback being energetic get to work type of herb. Not sure of the true pedigree of the cutting i received. The durban ghana is also very pm resistant. Looking forward to sampling in proper time.

Durban CBG crossed to Ghana CBG outdoor
Durban from CBG is a very nice smoke and a beautiful plant to grow. Low height compared to some other pure sativas. Enjoyable all around plant. Serious breeding stock. First image is straight Durban pure and uncrossed. Second is Durb Ghana - ghana pheno which is less compact plant and flower structure compared to durb ghana - durb pheno which is photo 3. 4 is side by side durban pure and durb ghana ghana feno.
