one video i looked at and listened to, you could hear two automatic weapons at the same time, and i doubt LVMPD returned fire with automatic rifles.

That said, all any of us knows right now is nothing. We know what the tube/radio is/are dishing out... And they admit they don't really know.

WikiLeaks says RT reports the 3-month-old conversion to Islam.

The family says he had no known affiliations.

Reports of losses at the tables (ranging from rumors of $10,000 up to $40,000) but they also say he owned two aircraft, so may or maybe not able to absorb such a hit.

For all any of us really knows, some whack job on a mission of what ever sort, thought the guy's room made for an excellent tactical perch, and took him out before any of this started.

As far as class III weapons ownership goes, in 31 states, $200, two passport photos, two sets of finger prints, and a local law enforcement signature (which wasn't technically mandated in the 1968 NFA), will get you a permit for almost any (transferable) class III weapon.

So he worked for the predecessor of Lockheed Martin (F-35 creator) and was a pilot. Doesn't sound like a dumb guy and he would have been required to go through psych evaluation to fly. This is a strange one indeed.
