Mandala #1 xpermental
The crew at Mandala sent me out a trial of their Mandala#1 variety that has been crossed with a new male. This is my 2nd outdoor crop of this Mandala #1x, as I call her. For those of us growing in less than ideal conditions early flowering hearty growing trees are what your after. Mandala's #1x fits the bill. This Sativa dominate hybrid finishes by mid-late September @ 45* latt., resisting mold and mildews well while growing huge in 100% organic soils. Mandala's likes to breed strains that grow well indoors or out. I started my girl under T-5 HO bulbs then moved outdoors after a hardening off period. Every thing I have grown out from Mandala has kicked butt for me under T-5's, HPS or sun shine. Mandala offers great grow/problem solving solutions on their web-site. Lots to be learned there for those seeking... If you live on the fringes of quality Cannabis growing conditions you would do well to consider adding this variety to your grow. Active alert/up medicine. Berry and Mint flavors, sweet to the nose and toke. Purple calyx's, beautiful bud. Medium dense buds, medium leaf count. Highly Mold/Mildew resistant. Easy grow and fantastic response to LST training or topping. Thanks Mandala for allowing me to trial this fantastic medicine! Happy HoliDaze mg

I bought a lot of the originals after reading your grow/smoke reports. How would you compare the two crosses in terms of medicinal effect? I'm forever looking for the perfect PTSD/Depression strain.

I find this newer cross to be a bit more active/alert than the 2 older versions of Mandala #1 I grew 3 seasons ago. Last years 2013 harvest was more body effect than my 2014 harvest, not a huge difference and probably just individual plant differences. I use M#1 as one of my day time active/medications, no hyper feeling coupled with a clear thought process lasting 3-4 hours, she mutes my pain and allows me to get my work done or enhance playtime. I have one patient that uses the Mandala#1 for depression with good results, no current experience with PTSD. Good Luck finding the medicine that works for you... Will be interested in knowing how the Mandala strains work out for your condition, keep us posted. mg

I feel bad. This is the first time in seven or eight years I don't have any Mandala genetics going in the garden. I have been a big fan of the Ganesh and Kalichakra for a long time now. Much respect for Mandala Seeds. Thank you Peace

Agreed! I first ran Hashberry about 8-10 years ago. Haven't ran it in a VERY long time and I'd love to have it in my garden next year.

i had crossed accidentally made some beans from a gigantic flowering ganesh and an 8 miles high male. Grew out those beans for about 6 years. Fantastic smoke. Just picked up another pack of ganesh; they are next in rotation. Love the plants, mandala does a great job. I'm really surprised that we don't see more of their strains in dispesaries and publications. Not a bad idea to keep them to ourselves a bit though, right?
