I remember the first time i smoked proper outdoor grown Golden Tiger flowers.
I went with a close friend to a smoking meeting with other people that we didn't meet previously in person ... we all sit around the table in disposition to test different strains and buds, most of them were strong indica hybrids ... then we tried the uglier looking Golden Tiger buds.

Me and my friend couldn't stop to laugh for more than 1 hour, we were in front of many unknown people so the situation was quite embarrassing, but hell! the laugh didn't stop and we had to go out to take some fresh air as we were feeling that the others were thinking we were actually laughing at them .... we left the place and it started to rain very heavily, we tried to drive back home but it was completely impossible, we had to stop the car in the middle of the road as we can not see anything or drive properly, then laugh and laugh again under the rain.

My second most impressive smoking experience with Golden Tiger was with the improved GT fem version. A friend just harvested some huge GT outdoor trees of this newer GT version and i went to his village to visit him. He commented me how he and his friends were very impressed with GT's vigor, yield, potency and long lasting effects. He gave me some GT flowers to smoke, i initially doubt to smoke them as i had to drive back home, but i didn't want to be impolite and i finally accepted to smoke a nice joint. My failure. Then i went to the car and the 'problems' started to appear:

I felt like i was a playing a new video game for the first time, the surroundings looked unreal, i simply didn't know how to run my old car, i was totally tripping being unable to recognize properly the environment or how to use the car, finally i managed to use the car and i left the village ... i was close to be involved in a car accident in the highway when i was driving back home, i finally arrived safe back home. These and other similar experiences from close friends fully confirmed that strong Malawis and Malawi hybrids like Golden Tiger are not a good choice if you are using dangerous machinery or if you are in a social event with unknown people. It's an amazing trippy effect that is enjoyed at its best when you feel mentally confortable and when you are in a well known place, alone or with good friends which also enjoy with strong trippy sativas.

Got two females at least, and a nice La Affie x Nanan Bouclou male + a nice Thai x skunk male, and one more GT, thin leaves, purple stems, delicate looking compared to the other two, still got 10 GT's left, trial run first, see if I don't kill them, lol

Never smoked GT, but I like Malawi a lot. Purple Haze x Malawi even more!

The Thai in GH brings out what most people call trippy effects compared to pureMalawi but both are great and people's favourites seems to be spread around different varieties, not centering on one ACE line.

I agree i have had 3 phenos and all were good in their own way, all 3 got me as high as I could handle I think GT is my all time fave go to weed for for loosing touch with everything.
I will always have a GT fem in every grow I do.

The power comes from Malawi so i would say they are equal since new golden tiger is a malawi x double thai x malawi i also want purple haze Malawi it was my first order in 2014 but i have had no luck with ace seeds something always screws me but one day man i will have my revenge fuck the police!
