CannaVenture most mold resistant Strain

Hi guys, I live in a very wet climate and live by growing outside only.

Can you tell me what your favorite mold resistant strain is? weather it is made by CannaVenture or not.

In general it seems like purples are less prone to molding than the lighter green cousins
It varies by strain to a great degree
& here are a few major molds one can have problems with
Air movement and increasing it by opening up the area and removing surrounding brush if thats possible, can help reduce molding quite a bit

Its wet here and one of our best performers is the XJ-13
Solid big nugs
very little rot or mold problems until the last (5th) layer this last year in December (the final tufts were soggy and not harvestable when I went to see it the last time, but still hadn't "molded")

Early pearl does wonders for us here in Hawaii. Not quite well known, but stanks like a skunk.

All strains with dense bud structure will tend be mold prone to some degree. It's one of the problems with indica leaning genetics. Although people tend to like dense nugs for the aesthetics, they are actuality inferior to more airy bud for this reason.

I haven't flowered many CV strains, but I can definitely report that Sin Diesel is not mold resistant. It produces some beautiful bud, but I had issues with the rot myself and I live in a desert. If you have a serious mold problem then I suggest looking for airy budded sativas that are known for their mold resistance. Sterilize your grow room completely and improve air circulation. Don't let the temps swing too low at night and keep the colas away from the lights. Colas that are too close to a light tend to transpire massively and then the insides of the colas where there is no air flow get very damp.

Best of luck with the mold. It's truly evil. I just lost about an ounce of seriously beautiful bud to it so I know your pain. If you are growing outside look at Ace's gear. Many of their strains are super mold resistant.

I am quite mad after all.
