will be from the dad's side in all likelyhood, really anything from seed that has chemdog in it's background could potentially hermie.. that's a general rule so chalk this one down to learning another lesson..
i've started so so many seeds and RD lines seem much better worked and tested before release to me than other breeders so called work.. for what it is worth i saw some in four corners from seed.. and i see it all the time with lines with chem in somewhere,, especially if i don't do a pretty top job of growing them.. and just always check the bottom nodes of the stems of any suspect or new plants around week 3-5.. |

I grew out 6 beans of Scott's OG. Results: 1 runt (discarded), 4 males (one kept for pollen) and a female. She is healthy and vigorous in growth, 3 weeks into bloom. Strangely enough, she had a couple of male parts on her in veg., but they were duds and no more have shown up.

Its fully from the dads side (chem genetics), i spent many hours on here reading all the hermie threads so i believe the correct term to use is "monoecious" So far i havent seen any signs of pollination and ive been picking off the balls just to be safe. I guess i won't know for sure until closer to harvest. I'll be back to update at the end. By the way im not blaming the breeder at all just noting my experiences. I have other strains in the room with zero balls so its definitely the genetics, everything is healthy and not stressed either.

tangie ghost train haze that i currently have in bloom
this is a lower branch and im pretty sure these are male parts growing out the calyx. they look to be empty at the minute but she is the only plant in my bloom room to show this the rest are all full on female. also this is the only cut that i have that has come from feminized seeds . currently week 7 of bloom

I started 13 RD Blue Ox. All 13 popped open. Halfway thru veg 7 decided to act like sativas and the stretch was unreal. In days the had shot up past the light, one decided to commit suicide and grew straight into the CMH bulb. Of the 13, 4 were males. Kept 1 male for pollen chucking. Used the pollen on the 2 normal growth oxes and some BOGS blue kush. Went to water the girls last night and when i moved one plant i got a face full of pollen. One of the stretch phenos had 1 nanna at each branch junction. The nannas were not visible before this as all plants are inspected every 3-4 days. So much for the selective pollen chucking. All seeds will now be thrown away. Not sure if I will ever run anymore RD gear.
